My wife and I went through some very difficult times. My wife is disabled due to an injury at work. I battled cancer (I won!) and of course this put us behind financially. After years of personal financial mismanagement, I finally made the decision to contact someone to help. Ashley and Shannon at BDO have been amazing! They were kind and understanding. No judgements and made the process so easy. I’m so happy that I made the call.

Im extremely disappointed with the service from this company. It’s almost 9 months into my bankruptcy and nothing is different. Infact, everything is worse with my credit report. Calls and emails still from creditors, bankruptcy isn’t even marked on my reports, credit cards that were in good standing that I was told to cut up and not pay are now marked as delinquent and still being reported as delinquent every month and not paid. They have taken my $2500 tax return plus $1800 for the duration of 9 months and nothing has been done. I can’t even get an email or phone call back!!! I explain my concerns to the person answering the phone when I call and they tell me to call my trustee who never gets back to me either because what’s happening is not ok.. I feel like they are “away from the office” more than taking care of my bankruptcy. Worst mistake of my life. All this time and money waisted and I feel like I was scammed. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone!!

My experience has not been good at all. I chose BDO because of the good reviews and having used them many years ago. This time around has been nothing but frustration. At the initial meeting before I signed all the papers I was promised my rep would be helpful and supportive and would work WITH me. Nothing could be further from the truth. I have tried to get a new representative assigned to me after several in person meetings and repeatedly providing details that I cannot afford the $170/month they insist I have. No one has responded and they have done nothing other than ask for payment. I have lost sleep and am completely frustrated and stressed out. Claiming bankruptcy was the biggest mistake of my life. Choosing BDO to work with me through the process was the second. No idea what is going to happen to me but thanks for absolutely nothing BDO.

Knowledgeable , efficient, friendly, compassionate and understanding. Would recommend anyone who is having financial troubles and not sure what to do. I have many anxiety issues with phone calls and sharing such frustrations as my debt management. I don't like sharing weakness like this. However, the representatives I was assigned have been very helpful and understanding. I was able to work to my schedule and email prior to my calls so I could prepare ahead of any calls. Kristen has been amazing and very informative through this process so far. IF anything changes I will update this review. FOR sure let them know if you have any troubles. Email them so they can work with you. Definitely worth it. PLUS remember to ask questions. Kristen never made me feel stupid for anything I was asking throughout the process.
