Knouff Lake Wilderness Resort

Easy to drive to this resort. The weather was nice. A very well managed resort! Clean and beautiful! Fishing is good. It was a slow day. We caught several and released them. If you do not stay in the resort but you want to fish, you can pay a small fee to launch your boat and fish or rent their boat. It would be nice if they can have cellular signal or internet(did not check this with them), so kids can watch some videos while camping. Yes, I will visit the resort again. Thank you!

Great fishing spot (1-3lb trout). Easy access. Restrooms. Power spots. One Sani dump for fee. Small playground. Fish cleaning station. Cabins. RV rental. Boats for rent. Lots of camping spots.

This place is wonderful. It is run by a family, they are very nice people. Great place for kids and families. They have full facilities, including hot showers, for a nominal fee.The fishing is awesome! It is just an all-around relaxing trip to de-stress and reset. I would highly recommend this resort.

The resort is absolutely stunning. We stayed in one of the rustic cabins and it was definitely a very cool experience and my kids loved it. This place is truly somewhere that you can disconnect and have awesome family time . ( there is no cell service but there is wifi at the office/store)The owners have cleaned up the beach area, fixed up the old picnic tables, the boats have been maintenance and new motors have been bought! and things are constantly getting nicer and nicer over the years! You can really tell how much effort they put in. Everything is very clean and the owners are very hospitable. The owners are also very attentive to guests suggestions on how to improve…. It is nice to see a family working and playing together

Amazing place and amazing staff!!We had a fairly large group (7 cabins) for our annual Winter Camp trip and this place was awesome!!! Cabins were fantastic and having the propane heat as back up for the wood stove was awesome. Cabins and washrooms were very clean, the lodge was awesome to unwind the day at with games and wifi for the kids. The grounds and scenery were outstanding but truly the staff were the best. I highly recommend this place!!! My only negative is no pantry/shelving to off load the dry goods so they were kept in totes. I would come again and again!

My family have been coming up in December to stay for a number of years now. We all enjoy ourselves. Getting away from the city and service. And enjoying some quality family time.

Had a very beautiful spot for tent camping. The bathrooms were well kept and clean. We have a fun time using rented boats on the water. Would definitely love to return.

I can’t personally say anything about the cabins quite yet (plan on staying next spring) but the fishing was excellent. I went up on thanksgiving Sunday to rent a boat for a few hours and was pleasantly surprised at not only the cleanliness, but what they had to offer. All boats come with a gas 5hp motor as well as an electric motor. Two swivel seats, a set of oars and an anchor. There was even a fish beater in the boat. Both motors worked fantastic and although the fishing was slow in the morning, it picked up dramatically around 3PM. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and made sure to mention a fish cleaning station at the dock which was promptly cleaned and stocked when I had inquired about it. 10/10 would recommend and I will definitely be spreading a good word and will totally be back. Excellent place to spend your money for a day of fishing with the family.

Closer to Sun Peaks than Kamloops, this wilderness resort has it all. Summer or winter you won't be disappointed. The cabins are true log cabins and have all you'd need and more. It's rustic and quaint with a genuine quality about the whole place and attention to detail. It's situated on beautiful Knouff Lake. Great food a weekend getaway or a summer vacay. The camping and group sites are all amazing as well

IT WAS A LONG DIRT ROAD TO GET THERE. NO INTERNET OR CELL SERVICE. I WOKE UP TO A FROG ON MY BOOT. IT WAS A GREAT PLACE TO GO FOR MY 40 TH BIRTHDAY WHERE NOBODY COULD SEE ME CRY ABOUT BEING OLD. I WILL BE BACK
