I have lived in Bellingham my whole life and rumors has always had a good reputation. However, the other night I have become aware that it has changed. The employee at the door openly mocked my friends and I for asking why they were requiring facial identifications. The other employee, who may have actually been the owner, spoke to us briefly about it then walked away. I have never been treated so poorly at any establishment. They made me feel like I am unwelcome in my own home. They do not deserve to be in business. Do not go there.

Really cool split nightclub/lounge with awesome vibe and presentation. Staff is very friendly and on top of cleanup. As a former bartender I must say that your drinks need work though. The long island tasted anything but... and sweetened lime juice syrup is not a margarita ingredient. I'll keep trying, I enjoy dancing here!

Neat retro modern. Coctails are the bomb. Name of the place is 'Millers Back Door' it is an annex bar around the corner from Rumors.

Yeah so sad when they throw you out without telling you why . The bigger problem is they throw you without telling your date or your friends or they throw you out without your debit card or your coat.But...you'll be back next week be et thrown out and separated from new friends and new dates after spending more money then you will realize that it's you they don't like .... so stop wasting your money and time here .

I have enjoyed Rumors in the past but I have to leave a comment now because I no longer feel that it is a safe and inclusive place. Twice now I have been kicked out of Rumors for dancing which makes me seem too drunk" or something like this. The first time I literally had one sip of my cocktail and the second time I had had two tequila shots. In neither case was I belligerently drunk

This is a LGBTQ friendly bar. They have great customer service. Discounted drinks prior to 8pm. They have a dance floor that is crazy active. They are accepting of straight folks too. They have security to ensure civility.

I genuinely dislike bars, and yet somehow I've had an incredible time every time I've been here. I suck at karaoke and dance like perhaps my lineage has been tainted by some kind of creature lacking an endoskeleton, and yet whenever I'm here, good things happen to me. Rumors is a special place, and must be protected at all costs.

Always a great experience here. Lovely staff, big dance floor, kind and inclusive.One and only complaint: the photo booth is too small.
