Beautiful coffee shop! Corner suite with 2 floors of lounge areas, and indoor plants! Breakfast sandwiches, muffins, banana bread - vegan options, coffee options, all made local! Coffee is delicious! Service is generally consistent. Coffee beans to go!

They fulfill orders day-in and day-out and I don’t see why there would be any reason for everyone’s order to be served already except mine (with no one else at the lobby left but me). The girl creating the drinks was dismissive and unapologetic of the oversight even though it was obvious I was waiting too. They outright skipped my order stub. Boo. Was it because I’m Asian? This Asian on Asian micro-aggression is getting out of hand. Please honor the good coffee with a better experience in service.

While I feel bad while writing this as a loyal JJ fan, I must express my disappointment with the iced mocha I had at this particular location. Despite my previous positive experiences, the coffee I had today was unexpectedly bitter and lacked the usual flavour I had come to expect. So, I will not come back to this location in the future.

Sorry for the terrible review but it has to be said. The staff are great. Atmosphere is cool. But the drinks are not made well. Matcha frappe tastes different everytime and the last one was un-drinkable. It was over $7. Please standardize the drink recipes and refresh the training to JJ's calibre. Thank you.

Bring your own mug, and you can still get a small, rich, delicious Americano for under 3 dollars here. Snacks are great. Wraps and sandwiches are great. JJ is definitely one of the best chains to come out of Vancouver. I sincerely hope it stays this good.

Apart from their fantastic coffee, most food items I've tried were fantastic and just screams quality. Best grilled cheese sandwiches here. Their Belgian Chocolate Almond Crossaints are to die for. Most satisfying even without having to eat the whole thing. Very nice selection of quality muffins. Wish I took photos of some these items. Great customer service. This location is doing a great job with social distancing too.

JJ Bean coffee is so delicious. When consuming inside you could have a real cup. It all adds to the taste of the great cappuccino they offer. Is it the roast that makes their coffee so tasty? Not sure, I just had the nicest coffee in the hood.

First off, there is a lot of reviews from people who seem to be looking for problems. Obviously criticisms are allowed for the sake of improvement but that does seem to be the case with many of these reviews.I am a university students who's been going here for the last year or two to meet with friends, study, or just get out the house. Many of these reviews seem to complain about millennials and students hogging tables and taking away from other people's time. Although I understand their frustrations, I don't see how there's any difference between a baby boomer and their friends talking over a coffee for hours than some students with their laptops out. Maybe that's just me, I am open to hearing the other side.That being said, JJ is busy. The staff do a great job of making sure that the lines move quick and they tend to every customer. This is perfect if you prefer businesses that owe you everything and exist to serve you. If you are there just because you enjoy visiting coffee shops and trying new things, then you'll love it. Although being slightly cold, the atmosphere is awesome. While it may lack the typical coziness most some coffee shops, JJ's modern look and setup is really awesome. Almost everyone who visits comments on how great the living plant wall is.Now I am not some big coffee guru who knows everything about the process and collection of coffee, but I do appreciate different coffees and tend to try as many different options as I can on visits. Their coffee itself is not personally my favourite, but it goes very well with the rest of their drinks. For example, whatever powder or syrup they use for their mochas is incredible. The prices do feel expensive, but when you compare it to an other coffee place, even Starbucks, you see they're all the same.JJ's food is typically really good. Like most places it's just grilled and microwaved and whatever upon ordered but includes some good options like the turkey chorizo.Personally, I really appreciate their staff. Show them respect and they'll show the same back. It may feel as though they don't have as good of a loyal customer base but part of that is because of how busy it gets and how difficult it is to talk with them without preoccupying them from helping the other customers. They handle it well.Lastly, they kill it when it comes it comes to foam art. There's a couple baristas in particular that do an amazing job every time. Highly recommend coming here, at least to try once. Weekends are busy, same with early mornings, but weekdays after 10am until close usually are pretty great.

Love that there is a JJ Bean in port moody. My husband loves their coffee. Location is great, the inside is nice and clean and staff are super friendly and nice. However, the last 2 times I’ve been there for a matcha shiver they were not good. Gross actually. Only getting hot drinks from now on.
