Altona Hotel
This service is horrible, when we called to make a reservation it took forever cause you couldn't even understand the person! Then when we got here they had canceled our reservation when they were supposed to cancel another they did it to another person we knew. Instead of incomadating us they and kicking out the other person wengot kicked out. Would not recommend this place at all.

Stayed in a King/Kitchenette Suite. Room was large and comfortable. Food was good. Bar was fun and staff was amazing. Price was reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

Not many small towns have good hotels or restaurants attached to them but Altona Hotel actually does.Their food in their restaurant was so delicious, their classic beef burger was dang delicious! I loved their curly fries, naked chicken wings and blackened chicken, cooked perfectly to my satisfaction.I also loved that they used real cooked bacon bites for my Caesar Salad, not like that fake stuff you get in a package.Great place for food, enjoyed anything I got off their menu and it wasn’t really expensive.The owner was very friendly and easy to talk to and to me seemed like a good person.I also forgot my jacket, sweater and they kept it in their office until I returned, I appreciated that.

Stayed a couple nights at this hotel. For breakfast there are muffins and yogurt and fruit available. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Did not check out the pool nor the gym as it was in another building.There was no hair dryer in the room, but I did ask at the front desk and they gave me one to use.Ate lunch in the restaurant.Had the grumpy chicken wrap with salad. The wrap and the salad were delicious. Real bacon in the salad. The restaurant wasn't busy but it seemed to take a long time for our food to come. Server was pleasant.

Altona Hotel
We were in Altona for a hockey tournament. This is the second time this year we’ve stayed in the Altona hotel and both times it was great! The staff are kind and helpful, the rooms are clean, the pool area is fun and the coffee and food was great! In highly recommend this hotel if you’re in the area. (Sometimes they are a bit short staffed…who isn’t these days… so he prepared to have some patience and give yourself a few extra minutes for getting places.)

Great stay at this place!Good customer service, staff were very friendly. The restaurant had some delicious meals. Kids loved the pool and hot tub.

The service and staff were outstanding, very friendly and hospitable from top to bottom. The rooms are older, very dated and pretty loud (from other rooms and hallway). The bar/restaurant was great; excellent food and fantastic staff. I’d stay here again just because the people were so great!

Rooms are very clean. Bathroom is a little dated but they make up for that with friendly service. Also had some food in the restaurant and it was fantastic.

I visited the inside of the bar this week and ordered a wrap and fries with a ceaser and woah was it good. The staff were awesome and the food is great 10/10

They were the only kitchen open for orders in town on the hottest day of the year which was also father's day which was good and the food was great, the poor lady helping us was cheery and kind even though she hadn't had any breaks that day over 12 hours because they were understaffed. As such we were told our or order would take 20 mins and it ended up taking nearly an hour. Overall decent experience.
