Holiday Inn & Suites Oakville @ Bronte, an IHG Hotel

Beautiful brand new seeming hotel but the A/C is a nightmare. It just turns itself off randomly, particularly at night. Apparently there is a motion sensor which in itself is annoying. Big brother is watching you as you sleep. Woke me up out of a sound sleep many times by just turning itself off until I couldn't fall asleep anymore so I spent a lot of money to not sleep. There is an easy override but everybody pretended not to know that. If you plan to stay here I suggest you look up the A/C system, Verdant, before you come. The staff are very nice and again the hotel is beautiful. But I would not stay here again because of the A/C. I'm writing this in July, it's over 80. When the A/C goes off you start to swelter pretty fast. I got a 1BR king suite which seems like a good deal if you have an extra person but the room with the couch has zero A/C. It just stays hot. Edit: Re the manager's response, with all due respect, none of this changes the fact that I spent over 700 dollars to not sleep for 3 days. I found the manual override of the AC with a 10 second Google search. I fail to believe the hotel is not aware of it. It simply saves a tremendous amount of money to turn off people's AC and let them swelter. I only ever stayed at a Holiday Inn one other time years ago and it was also a complete disaster.

Great spot to rest for the night. buffet breakfast was hot and fresh. It was delicious! Ontario Camaro club held there annual show and shine in the front parking area with dinner after. Fantastic hotel food and place to party!

Rooms were clean. The bathroom was spotless. Overall, the hotel suited my stay (funeral). View was of the highway, but so is every other hotel in Toronto (unless you want to pay a fortune). Would have been nice if the breakfast buffet was included with the room (some other hotels on my trip do this), but the buffet was good.

Was a really nice experience for a small trip in Canada. Rooms were cleaned daily, little to no noise during the night. Really loved the location as it was just off the highway and was easy to commute to places around the area. Staff was nice and friendly throughout the whole time there. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Nice clean beautiful, you got two rooms so you had like a living room space and then you had a door that closes to the bedroom which was very nice. Just know that if you pay with your CAA card and you get the discount that you will not get a free breakfast. But other than that it was a very nice place, friendly, clean, swimming pools great
