Kris-Tee's Towing

I do not recommend this company. I am a 20 year old woman who hit the ditch and obviously needed help. There were two men that came to help me, an older gentleman and a younger guy. I think his name was Terry. The older man was nice but didn’t have much to say. Terry on the other hand was extremely rude and unprofessional.They pulled my car out of the ditch and they noticed I had two flat tires so my car was not driveable. I had asked to be towed into town to Kal Tire and after doing so, Terry sighed and acted as if it was the biggest inconvenience of his life.After they loaded up my vehicle onto their truck they wanted me to stay in my car on the back of their pickup. I said I did not want to do that, obviously, so I had to ride with them. Terry was visibly annoyed by this. He put his headphones in and ignored me the whole time we drove to town. Not a single word was said the whole half an hour drive except for Terry telling me how much it was going to cost when we almost were in town. I asked if E-Transfer was okay and he had to phone somebody to ask if it was okay. I then sent the money and showed him to verify that I sent it.We got to Kal Tire and they unloaded my car.I went inside and explained my situation to the tire guy and he was happy to help me. He put me above his other clients to make sure I would be on the road right away. The first time since hitting the ditch that someone was nice to me and asked if I was okay.Terry then came back into the building after taking my keys away from the tire guy saying that he did not receive the E-Transfer. I explained to him that I’m not sending him more money as it is probably still just sending. He then angrily said that he did not receive it and that he wasn’t going to leave until he got it.I was visibly upset (crying) throughout this whole situation so the tire guy interjected and told him to just bill Kal Tire and that he’ll take care of it.I cancelled the E-Transfer as per the tire guys request and the tire guy had them bill Kal Tire directly.Terry very much only cared about receiving a payment and not about how I, his customer, was. No compassion for another human. He later apologized and said “I’m sorry this is just stressful for everyone.”This situation should have only been stressful to me as I am the one who was in the ditch.Do. Not. Use. This. Company.Highly recommend Slave Lake Kal Tire though.

This company is so wonderful. I got my car stuck on a backroad in the middle of nowhere and they were able to find me and pull my car out of the mud. They didn’t even charge me extra, even though they could have. So professional and so kind. 10/10 would recommend.

They were extremely efficient, detailed and mostly friendly.In the covid era I was treated as a human and NOT a potential carrier, I appreciated that more than the prompt side of the road recovery which the performed. All of this for $368.50!!!! It's a Freightliner BTWThank you

Peter and Terry rescued my husband after his truck motor blew up on hiway 2, south of Slave Lake on his way to work in Wabasca. Terry also went above and beyond and took my husband all the way to Wabasca for work. We live south of Edmonton and Peter has been so understanding of our situation and is not charging us for storing the broken truck in his compound while we figure out what to do with it, saying that, You folks have had a hard enough time." Very reliable over the years , The best 10/10 5 star service and above in all of the surrounding Slave Lake towing out call service. There is none other to compare the talented work they done. I would rather call Kris-tee’s over any other towing outfit, hands down the very up most, Very professional.They know how to get the job done the safe and the right way. Thanks for the great help! Fast and efficient, save my bacon outside slave

Our vehicle broke down in slave lake on a Friday at 4, while we were on our way to British Columbia. Transmission went shot. We called kris-tees towing after trying multiple towing companies. They were so helpful and had our vehicle towed to Edmonton Saturday afternoon. They kept their word and we were really appreciative of that! Thankyou soMuch for making stressful situation not so stressful!

it was a holiday that day and the boss went to help me when i was on the middle of the three way stop. he was nice and helpful

Peter and James were very professional and courteous. These guys worked super hard in minus 38 degree Celsius weather condition to pull my vehicle 200 metres off the highway, in a ditch in a manner that did not damage the vehicle. These guys are heroes, and worth every cent paid to them for their services. I whole-heartedly recommend them next time you need a tow/ boost or any other service for your vehicle.

Call them if you are in need. They will help you. I had a great experience dealing with Peter and James. There are very few businesses I am thankful for; this is one.
