I'm in the process of remodeling a room in my house. I'm typically a DIY kind of guy, but this particular room had 7 outlets that the upper half of the outlet was controlled by a couple three way switches. So the amount of wires was confusing and while I could do it, it would have taken me several days to trace everything to figure it all out. Steve stopped out, half looked the job over and said he would get me a quote in a couple days. We are going on over a week now and I don't have a quote.I don't care if someone doesn't want to do the job for whatever reason (isn't worth their time, too tedious, whatever) just tell me open and honestly so I don't waste more time waiting to hear back.

Was very impressed with Steve's knowledge of old homes from the quoting process, and his prices are very fair. Another company had quoted much higher for inferior work.Steve and his team were punctual, friendly, and had great attention to detail. He truly treats the work like it's being done to his own home. The unfortunate truth about many electrician services out there is they are very unreliable, and I had several that didn't even show up after scheduling an estimate. Steve Ries does not run his business that way. He shows up exactly when scheduled, prints up a professional hard copy estimate, and does impeccable work. And his pricing is very fair.
