Our old Dyson was not suctioning so we brought it in for repair. Abdul convinced us to repair instead of replace and we are so glad we didn't waste $500+ on a new vacuum. It's as good as new. Never realized how poorly the suction was before we brought it in. Hopefully it will last another 10 years!

Don't be swindelled by Scarborough Vacuum, take your vacuum somewhere else to be repaired! I took in my Dyson to be repaired for a broken trigger, and was billed several hundred dollars for a 'replacement part'. It broke again after 4 uses, so I took it apart myself. They didn't replace anything! I can see that all they did was use some crazy glue on the trigger to hold it together, so it worked just long enough to take my money. It is still broken! I ended up fixing it all by myself for $29 in parts an hour of work, and an hour of watching 2 very helpful Youtube videos! You should be ashamed of yourselves, Scarborough Vacuum!!

Fast and professional service! Had my central vacuum hose repaired. They provided very good knowledgeable advice and were able to find a repair to work with my budget.

Great service at a great price!I found Scarborough Vacuum through a simple Google search. The reviews were great (except for one or two which you usually can expect with online reviews), so I decided to give them a call. When I called, I briefly described the issues that I was having with two vacuums (a Dirt Devil and a Hoover), along with what I suspected was the problem, and the owner informed me that they would be able to fix it. Of course, I had to then bring the vacuums in. The inspections to determine the issues were actually free of charge, and prior to fixing anything, the owner went over what the problems were, and the cost of the repairs. I agreed to the repairs, as the cost was beyond reasonable.When I returned to pick up my items, he tested them, and was very friendly. I definitely recommend this establishment as the service was great, and the prices were fair and reasonable!

I took my Dyson DC23 to Scarborough Vacuum to get an estimate on repair. My daughter gave ;me the Dyson who originally bought it refurbished and paid only $300 for it. This was approximately 7 years ago.I was not looking to spend a lot on it, I have hardwood and use it for area rugs. But I thought it was worth seeing how much a repair would be.My initial impression was good. I paid a $50 deposit and I was assured that I would be called on Wednesday with an estimate. Instead I received a call on Wednesday to come and pick up the vacuum.When I got there I was told I owed ANOTHER $385.99!!!!! What??? I could have bought a new vacuum for that! If I had been contacted as promised I absolutely would not have had it fixed.Apparently they ordered and installed a new control panel without contacting me or consent.This is not a small repair that everyone can just cover. Especially right now when so many are under financial strain. Wen I complained he offered me $50. Off in hopes that I would not give him a bad review! I still was not impressed and he offered another $50. This repair that I did not authorize cost $288.99 plus the $50 deposit... A grand total of $338.99.What makes me most upset is that while I am fortunate that I do not have to choose between paying this bill and putting food on the table some are not as lucky.It also bothered me that there is no paper work.... when I gave him the deposit he worsted on the back of a business card that he received the $50. Then when I finally paid for the unauthorized repair there was not detailed receipt only a sticker on my machine. Honestly the only proof that I paid w is my credit card statement.I truly hope this is not how they normally do business but they certainly did not accept responsibility or make it right.I will not use their service again and would strongly recommend going elsewhere.

This service store was extremely professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I had taken my Bissell Pet Pro Revolution Vacuum cleaner for repair and Abdul did a fantastic job of fixing the issue. I would definitely recommend coming here for your vacuum servicing needs. Thank you!

Took my Dyson vacuum to Scarborough Vacuum for repair. the owner estimated the cost and i picked up the vacuum the next day.i am pleased that the repair was completed as promised with no hidden charges. i would recommend this repair shopAlex

This person repaired our Dyson vacuum cleaner well, however, he is quite dishonest when it comes to pricing. When he took the vaccum cleaner he charged $50 for diagnostics and said that the final repair cost would be $350. He also said that the $50 would be deducted from that. He did not provide any receipt. When my husband went to pick up the vaccum today, he completely denied that and charged an additional $400 instead of $300. Be very careful about this person!
