Playful Pups Doggy Daycare

We send our poodles to Playful Pups for play and socialization and we have not been disappointed. The staff are wonderful. Our dogs are happy and knocked out at the end of the day. We know they've played! We also used their boarding service when we went away. It gave us peace of mind to know that they are cared for and I didn't have to worry one bit.

We love playful pups! We have done full days in daycare and also overnight boarding. I was a little worried bringing in Curry for the first time since people aren't allowed to tour the facility. But he loved it there so much that the next time we came, he was in such a hurry to leave us and go inside. That tells you how much fun he has there! They always post pics of the day on social media so I can see how much fun my pup is having. It has been a godsend for us so we can get some personal quiet time and sanity. And especially helpful for people who have pups like mine with separation anxiety. Lacey was also more than generous enough to work with Curry on his separation anxiety which is greatly greatly appreciated, and an over and above service! I feel so safe and comforted about leaving my pup there. Their hours are AMAZING and can't be beat (late nights and weekends), and their rates are reasonable. Rocky my Rescue Shepsky has found a second home at Playful Pups. I even think when he is at home with me that he is often thinking about when will he get to go back there to see all of his friends. I am also grateful how the daycare has accommodated my work schedule being that I work 12 hour shifts in healthcare.

I was connected with the PPDD family by Devine design, of this, I have not one single doubt. I say Family because that is the palpable sensation one feels as soon as one enters the environment of this tucked away little slice of doggy paradise. The owner has created an amazing space, and put together a phenomenal team of devoted people who are all there for the same reason: Puppy Passion!!! Their facility is very well organized, immaculately clean, and... have I mentioned the super awesome team?!? I drove from maple ridge to Richmond because I knew instantly that I was leaving my most precious cargo in the safest of hands!Thank you so much to the PPDD Family! Obi and I are truly grateful for you all!!

Our dog Hannah absolutely loves going to daycare here! She is leash reactive but Playful Pups has an efficient way with drop off and pick up so there are no interactions between dogs going in and out. They post multiple photos each day on Facebook so you can see your pup in action. Definitely recommend!!

I am so glad I found Playful Pups! They are all friendly, patient and clearly love their jobs. Especially impressed with how they tend to a new dog - a staffer is assigned to watch their interactions, ensure they are not trying to escape, and walked on leash initially even though the property is fenced. This level of extra security and care is off the chart and to me, is unheard of. I just had a medical crisis that was at first very dire but ended up improving, and PP was immediately helpful and concerned and assuring me that my pooch would be okay. I was more concerned about her than about myself and PP made it easier to feel confident about her needs. I can't say enough good things about these guys.

They are the best! Our crazy Bosley doesn’t love a lot of people but he’s head over heels for the staff there❤️❤️

People who clearly genuinely love dogs. Always pleasant and accommodating to us mere humans, they put themselves out in a million ways, big and small, to improve dogs’ time at Playful Pups. Highly recommend

Absolutely awesome staff, they are caring and flexible, and most importantly, my dog is always happy going there.

The staff and management are so friendly and understanding. They truly care about your dog like their own. Our dog is a bit nervous but they welcome her and ease her into her daycare visits. She comes home happy and tired!
