Just bad and it's me harpinder

This place doesn’t deserve the negative reception it gets.The teacher’s here are the best and most understanding in a school that I’ve ever seen. The way they handle learning is phenomenal. They put the students first, understanding what they need to be successful. They genuinely care about the students they teach and it really comes together to form an amazing teaching environment.Putting the students first so they can learn is a much better way of handling students learning because the teachers adjust to the needs of the person.4 stars.Go to this school.You will NOT regret this decision.

I like the hc middle school

I would not recommend this school to parents from the view of a sister.This school handles things by doing the one thing they know how to do best; suspending kids for small things.My brother was suspended 6+ times (we honestly lost count) for unessesary things.We switched him from a French immersion school (which he was attending since nursery) where he did not get 1 single suspension.He spent grade 8 at HC Avery and the last 6 weeks of school for him was at home, and with the last 2 weeks of June going to tutoring. I could ask him what he learned this year, and I'm sure he would not be able to recall much.My brother was not even allowed to attend his grade 8 grad.They also tried to say he had ADHD and that's why he would act out".I could go on and on about this school but will choose to simply disclose that information."

This school is bad

One of the best middle schools you could go to!I don't see why everyone rating it a 1 star.

so far for my meeting at this school, i was greeted by the principal and counselor and they were by far the best people i've met. since i've been technically expelled from faith academy for the last few weeks of school, i work from home now. but i'm going to this school for grade 8, they were amazing. they serve free breakfast and have a sensory room for kids with autism who need a space, everyone was so welcoming and i can't explain how nice the staff was. i'll update when i get to the school for september.

Worst school ever. I get bullied a lot so thats why i hate this school...

Don’t put your kids here... Just don’t, trust me. The teachers here don’t care about your kids education and won’t engage in learning, go to any other school.

Man now that I’ve been graduated from high school for a year this was definitely the best school I’ve experienced through my school years I took my time here for granted I wish I could rewind time to the days I had in this school I hated school always but when I was at this school I actually wanted to go to school all the teachers they where all great who knows who’s still kicking around, ms sharp was the best gym teacher ive had my grade 8 class I had ms K, me and my friends still look back when we’re together and laugh at the memories we had here we all agree that was the best year of our life
