I am very disappointed with their service.I placed the order and paid for the door and the frame on the 1st of August. today is Aug 27th, it's almost one month and door is not ready yet.I have called them about 15 times in the last 10 days but no one can give me an exact date when the door will be ready.Currently all my other renovation work is on-hold until the door is installed. I would not recommend Active Doors to anyone. I would not give them any Stars. Selected one star because I cannot post my comments without selecting a Star.Finally I received the door yesterday Sept 16th after patiently waiting for about 45 days. Beside the delay, The door and the frame look great.I was told that the delay was due to their Glass supplier had not delivered the glass on time. Active Doors offered me $40 worth of door trims to make me happy. Whole Active doors Team should be responsible for this issue/delay. Hopefully something like this will not happen to anyone else.

Contacted this company in July and was initially responded by Jessie. All seemed to be going okay but then when I asked for custom specification, a transom, I was told they would check with their door supplier. No one responded to me after multiple followup on my part.Eventually I drove to their office in Surrey and started the whole process all over again with a new sales agent in September. Only now here we are 3 weeks+ and no one from their office has confirmed if they can make my door to order.I have had enough and will not be using Active Doors for my door supplier.Thanks for nothing.

Unfortunately, I fell in the trap, hook line and sinker. Salesman (jas) also the owner, great person, poor delivery method. Three months later and still waiting for a reply. Aish was great lip service, again, another check for incompetence performance. three weeks and still waiting.Refund me, take your product back. hell. I’ll pay the restocking fee. do we need to go to small claims?

I built my house with Windows and mouldings from Active Windows 10 years ago. They were a good company back then. Yesterday I phoned them and explained that my exterior French door window insert had shattered and need a replacement. The sales man told me the price of $150 for the window and $50 to get installed, but it must be ordered. The next day we went there to order the window. When I asked the price, they said $180. After much arguing, they agreed to give it to me for $150. Another better older salesman come down and confined that the price is $150 as well.The staff is not professional at all, they have no knowledge of the products. If you are nice polite people, then the front staff will rip you off. Windows and doors are cheaper in other places in Surrey. Went to Surrey New and used and bought new one for $120.

Built a new house and had an amazing first time experience with active doors. Amazing showroom with lots of variety and even better customer service. they beat all there competitors prices and even had the perfect gold coloured hinges which other stores couldn’t get. Highly recommend!!

They charge shelving fees for return items. Buyers be careful. Purchases from here are almost like final sale. Giving them the 2nd star because of the salesperson, he was nice and polite. Somehow the salesperson doesn't work there anymore, seems he quit because they charged shelving prices to 2 of his customers. Looks like they don't care for their small purchase customers. The front end staff came out to be rude to me, not directly, but I could hear her talk something which wasn't respectful.Not a good experience at all.

This location came to my attention for a recent need for a special door. Walking into their spacious showroom, it quickly became apparent that their selection was more than ample and efficiently arranged to provide fast access to whatever your interest or need.Unbeknownst to me, it was the owner who served me, in an unpretentious manner. I have come to see that his attitude impacts the staff. It's a pleasure doing business with them and I find the selection, product and delivery to be first-rate.

I’m currently building a house and visited a few popular door companies in surrey, one of which was Active Doors. I rarely write reviews but I really wanted to mention what a positive experience I had there. Raman, who helped me was patient, helpful and super knowledgeable. He was also able to match and beat prices of any other competitor as they all seem to carry the same products. I’m one of those annoying indecisive clients with tons of questions but he never made me feel that way during the entire process. I‘m in sales myself so I really appreciate good service.

So sorry, promised Active Doors to post this review a long time ago. Well, here it is: I needed some parts for a balcony door handle and closing mechanism.I was greeted very friendly (this was before the Covid-19 outbreak) and within short time well taken care of. My customer service guy opened a brand new package and charged me only for the parts I needed. I recommend this place to everyone who needs new doors.Great selection, great quality, great customer service. Thank you guys and cheers!
