VERY DISSAPOINTED! I baught gold hoops from this store and the man tried to convince me to buy them because I told him I'm allergic to fake jewelry (I asked if they were real gold) he assured me stainless steal would not make my ear break out. I wore them for the first time the day after and they broke. I picked my hoop up from the grass (I was at the park) and I desperately tried to search for the peice that fits in your ear for 20 minutes.I decided to call and tell them what happened to see what he could do for me. He said he can sell me others for a great price. I said sir I don't want to spend more money I am a student I don't have a job or more money" he said there's nothing he can do for me. He said my ear must have got caught on something and surely this was not the case but he did not want to take responsibility for selling me BAD QUALITY I told him atleast I tried but I can't buy from him again because I wasted money and he won't exchange or replace the part. He said " okay no problem bye" and hung up the phone on me.I feel absolutely DISGUSTED as a customer. This place does not care about customers they only care about sales and ripping people off. I am so unhappy and very upset the way he tried to make more money off me after ripping me off."

I’ve had a great experience with both owners including Maria who the shop is named after. They were kind and gave me a good deal. My whole family goes there and I’m so happy with my new earrings and ring. They always give excellent recommendations and know what will look good on you!

I love this place! I drive all the way from the Vaughan to come to Pickering just for Maria’s Jewelry. I’ve been a customer for over twenty years and not one of my pieces have ever tarnished or broke on me. And the compliments I receive on this jewelry are unbelievable.I’ve seen some negative comments on here and I do not understand how people have claimed to have had these experiences. I have been shopping here at Maria’s Jewellery for about 20 years now! Their sterling silver jewelry lasts a lifetime! I must be lucky because my bracelets, pendants, and necklaces have yet to tarnish!! I only buy jewellery from Maria (of whom the shop is named after) and no where else!
