Pomeroy Hotel & Conference Centre Fort St John

Always stay at the Pomeroy Hotel when I go for work. Always clean rooms, staff are awesome!!

The staff is pleasant and the facilities work really well. There is access to a little patio from my room where i found hundreds of cigarette butts. I only had to ask and reception let me use one of their brooms to sweep up 3lb of smokers rights

1st time in Dawson Creek. Great stay.

There was a Hospital Foundation night gala with a very loud music until 2am. Could hear it on the top floor. The front desk, however, argued that it is not that loud up there. Probably they already went deaf from all the loudness on the ground floor.The bed mattress in the room smells terrible. It's like a gallon of Ajax was mixed with something very pungent and dumped on it in attempt to make it smell fresh?! Stayed in a few other hotels in FSJ, this one beat them all by its grossness. And is it supposed to be an upscale lodging, based on its established name?!

Nice rooms, kids loved the pool and waterslide, great continental breakfast with good variety and quality, manager went above and beyond to accommodate.

Great staff . Rooms are very comfy . The bed on the king size are more comfy than the Queen's as the queens are very soft and seem dated . The hotel itself is quite old but clean and friendly . Not bad for a few nights , although it's not a 5 star hotel. ( They don't claim to be ) The pool is small and full of kids and busy on weekends . I gave it four stars as staff are very good and you also get a free breakfast. I would stay again if needed too . But maybe I'd try and find somewhere a little fancier for my anniversary or something a little cheaper where you could get the basics anyway .

My Fiance and I went here 2 years ago for our anniversary stay-cation. The room was nice, well appointed and the bed was extremely comfy. We had taken the Jacuzzi suite, which, we were a little sad at the air jets as it cooled off the water rather quickly. But succeed in an epic bubble bath.We didn't use the room service, but rather enjoyed the sit down meal at Just Jacks. We had a nice dinner there.All staff that we talked to were pleasant, and easy to work with!

This was a lovely place to stay! The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. No question was left unanswered! They pointed out places to visit and recommended where to get special foods/meals. The pool, with a waterslide, was a lot of fun for my 3 grandchildren. The comfortable bed mattress and pillows allowed me, with my bad back, to sleep peacefully. Breakfast was perfect - great coffee, fresh cut up fruit, hot foods and then the self-made waffles (the amazing staff made one for me each morning) with the strawberries in a sauce poured over top! There were lots of other foods including egg dishes, meats, pancakes, potatoes etc. On the last day, I ventured into the casino (my first time ever in one) and the attentive staff was amazingly helpful in making sure I found a game(s) that was enjoyable. Great holiday and would definitely return to this hotel ❤️!

I found myself here through unintended circumstances (broken plane stranded me in fsj for an extra night). The room was comfortable, and I appreciated the aesthetic. My room was an accessible room, so I can confirm they have wheelchair accommodation.The staff were friendly and understanding, both the hotel front desk and the restaurant (Just Jacks) serving staff.I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I found myself needing a room.

Was at the conference center there for a meeting and the staff handled it very well.
