Horizon's Miramichi Regional Hospital

Don't reccomend it, wouldn't stay there again. Dated decor, rude front desk worker, overpriced. Lumpy beds and CRT televisions.

Great doctors, very friendly and supportive! We live in Miramichi a year now and feel very lucky to live here!

Staff have racist tendency and behaviour. my girlfriend was bumped from our spot for an MRI couple time. I would have understood at the emergency but on a appointment schedule is ridiculous. We had to wait our turn and once it’s our turn the person working the desk would try to help other people (white) when it’s time to talk to my girlfriend.

I had an overnight stay in the emergency department. The nurses and doctor were friendly and understanding.

The few times I have had to see the doctor due to emergency it took an exceptionally long time. I couldn't breath and still spent 6hrs waiting. Another time my 6ur old had a bladder infection and we say from 6pm until 3am. He was 6. The system is not working well.

I brought my husband in and he was seen as soon as we arrived and was very well taken care of while he was there for 9 days. We couldn't ask for any better. We thank the staff from the bottom of my heart for their service. You are all very appreciated.

I arrived at 9:15 am, waited 6 hours did not even manage to see a dr, I gave up. I felt that my care was not a priority for them. I have skin ulcers on my feet, they are deep, raw and painful.I moved here from Ontario 6 weeks ago, switched everything to New Brunswick ID, vehicle's plates and applied for Medicare. I was under the impression New Brunswick was encouraging their population growth. Not a way to showcase your Healthcare.

Simply the Best!! Went to emergency twice...once Saturday night and the second time Tues morning...two different issues. Both times the wait was a matter of moments, nurses and staff were beyond kind, caring and efficient. I am from ON visiting family in NB was concerned about out of Province care, absolutely no issues, to be honest vastly preferred the Mirimichi hospital over my local ON hospital. Care was so thorough, first rate in all departments, felt very safe...big thank you Doctor Bent

In a world of so much uncertainty and hate ..we need to do better as human beings. Arrived at 7am out by 9pm .. they didn't even start calling anyone in until after 3pm. Older lady in pain ..crying ..they called security on her ( she wasnt mouthy or ignorant she was in so much pain . ) an older man spoke up and said something to try to help her.. and he was told to pretty much mind his own business ...There might of been 6 people in the waiting room .. when I was called back to sit in a room there was ZERO people back there Zero! All the rooms were EMPTY!! No emergencies.. no traumas .....just several nurses ..the doctor and ZERO freaking people . So why are they not being seen ? Why are they waiting 15 freaking hours? Why are they sitting in the waiting room crying ...sad really .We need to do better ..
