Salmon Valley Campground

Last camping trip of the year and it didn't disappoint. Owners are friendly and helpful. We loved the coffee and treat bar, a great addition. Family oriented campground. Pet friendly too. Spacious lots, firewood available. Easy check in and respectful users observing quiet times. Toilets and showers available with a combo of 15 / 30 amp spots. In spite of the cooler temperature it was a great weekend of exploration and relaxation. Looking forward to next year.

My family of four had the pleasure of staying at site 16 (& friends at site 17) for two nights recently. With online booking, the check in was quick hello. The site was groomed and clean upon our arrival. Mother Nature eroded the river side by this site creating a significant drop off for our 4 & 2 year old boys, extra parenting was required to cover that safety issue. Bathrooms were clean and well kept, hot showers. Staff were present but not overbearing. The on-site cafe provides hot/cold drinks, baked goods and ice cream which was great way to break up the day. I would hope in the future they might consider installing a play structure for kids on the field to meet and play. My family already has a future date planned this summer and look forward to returning again! What a great campsite!(Site 17 in photo)

Bobbie and her accommodations were excellent!!Spots raked and nice picnic tables in great shape!! Right on river amongst beautiful trees and grassy areas. Away from main road just enough to not hear traffic but not too far.Though non-potable water hook ups (no biggy for us with filter and bottled water), dump station only due to keeping this gorgeous river setting free from contaminants. I appreciate the environmental awareness of Canadians; this country is so clean and free of garbage due to obivious respect of said beauty.Bathrooms and showers large and clean. Equipped with a coffe bar on site with delicious cinnamon rolls (homemade)This is a site I have STARRED on my maps because we will be back as soon as possible to enjoy this gem on the river.

This is the best kept secret in the North. Family oriented campground run by Super owners Bobbi & Frank make sure your camping experience is the best ever. Clean washhouse, large sites, plenty of trees, access to the river for everyone to enjoy.The coffee and treat shop is an added bonus with access to a public beach for those not wanting to camp.

Wonderful family place to stay . awesome ice cream and river to play in! Heard the water running from the creek all night. Decently private camp spots better than what we have Found more south. People had dogs there who never kept them quiet, but not owners/ workers fault . we only stopped in for 1 night!it was a great night Wish we would have stayed a few more !

This boutique Campground is minutes from Prince George.We are very new to camping and this campground met all our needs.They have a great little coffee bar that you can get fresh coffee or lattes.They also sell sweet treats to go with that cup of coffee in the morning.The grounds are well kept, as well as clean bathrooms and showers.They deliver chopped firewood right to your campsite for a small fee.(Also homemade fire starter) they are raising money for autism so monies go there.Well done! This family run business is top notch, personal touches everywhere.They met and exceeded are expectations of camping here.We stayed both times on the River side, amazing away adventure. Being just minutes from Prince George my husband was able to go back and forth to work.I felt safe and secure here.Bobbi and Frank came by to make sure everything was ok.They were doing the rounds picking up garbage.Sophia their daughter also works there,she makes a great latte.If your going to book, hurry they are almost completely booked for the summer.Thanks for a great weekend.

Amazing!! Bobbie and her family have poured their heart and soul into this incredible little campground! The Salmon River is within eye sight of most camp spaces with space to swim or walk along the bank. Large open area for grass activities or events. And don't forget the treat wagon with the most amazing cinnamon rolls and coffee!Highly recommend for anyone wanting a cute, inexpensive campground to spend some holidays!Also very close to the city of Prince George incase you need any amenities/food/supplies.

This campground is a hidden gem that needs to not be hidden. Our family stayed the weekend and it was fantastic. Sites are nice and large and by the creek as well. The cookies and the coffee at the store are better than a bakery. Bobbi and her family are very friendly and willing to help out with whatever issue you may have had. And the bathrooms are clean and free showers. Cant wait to go back. Thanks for the great weekend.
