We ordered screened top soil (Gromax) from them and it was unfortunately full of pieces of plastic, a spring, and some pieces of glass. For context, we found a piece of plastic (some kind of bag?) in almost every handful of soil. This was extremely concerning for us, and also disappointing based on other reviews I have read here.So just letting folks know to be wary about their products. It is not right to be selling products with so much plastics in there. I am especially concerned for the health and safety of my family - what else is in there that we can't see and (tediously) pull out ourselves?

As they said, you get what you paid for. I was happy with their price of the 3/4 clean gravel and ordered 2 yards. However, when the supply was delivered, at least 1/3 of the gravel (eye-balled) was small pea sized and with lots of stone dust. For my purpose of covering a walkway temporarily for one or two years, it might be okay. But for any permanent installation where consistent aesthetics will be the key, I would advice caution.

We've had a wonderful relationship at Prior's for nearly a decade now. Incredibly knowledgeable staff with all the landscaping products you need at one yard. Rick is always willing to lend us a hand to make sure we get our projects done on time. Deliveries are easy to schedule and show up right when they need to. Very friendly and welcoming to contractors and homeowners alike.

Exceptional customer service. Showed up with the truck, got great advice on what we needed and we were out of there within 15 minutes. I don't know what the employees are paid, but give them even more!! Will be back next year FOR SURE.

Love this place. Customer service is so friendly and yard is really easy to go grab a trunk full of flagstone which we've done a couple of times now. Would certainly go back and recommend.

I go to Priors exclusively for my mulch and landscape supplies. Rick has competitive pricing and more than that he makes a personal connection with his customers. Too many competitors want you in and out, but Rick makes sure you feel like more than a credit card. Their location is so perfect, basically in the middle of Guelph. You don't have to go far to get what you need!

They have everything... literally, everything-- more than I knew was available. The owner was an expert, with tons of energy and knowledge. He helped me and my husband choose everything from a cedar mulch, to some of the most stunning stone I have ever seen. I'd never even heard of it before. Blue granite. They put us in touch with incredibly talented masons, and we put it everywhere. Thanks for everything!
