Minnie Lake MD Campground

We stayed for the May long week-end 2021 in site 5 and my sister and husband in site 4. This is a great little campground with huge sites that are all facing the lake, so nothing but great views of the lake. The sites are quite open but there are trees behind you and the site is so big you don't notice it at all. The campground manager, Chris, is easy to talk to and makes you feel at home right away. Pit toilets only and change rooms for day use. Wasn't much of a beach, but huge grassy area, very well kept up which went all the way to the water. Firewood is $12 for a wheelbarrow or $20 for a tailgate full which is a great deal! We will come back again, we really liked the laid back feeling and just having the lake to look at along with beautiful Alberta sunsets!

This place is so peaceful. Love all the birds. A great place to kayak and enjoy life. The caretaker is also amazing. So kind and helpful.

It was great this time of year very little traffic no one on the lake - went kayaking - water calm nights were warm and clear !!

This place is a hidden gem. We stayed in the East. Right on the lake and the playground is central to the campsites. The park attendant is an absolute sweetheart. Only complaint is I haven't caught any fish.

Campgrounds are updated with new bathrooms and change room's! Very impressed with all they've done to it.
