Great options for fish lovers and vegetarians. The food was delicious and the whole group truly enjoyed it. The blueberry lavender lemonade was very good. Everything was seasoned very well and came out hot.

One of the best meals that I’ve ever had on PEI, and I’m a local!I had the salmon, it was perfectly cooked with a nice crisp finish. The overall dish was so flavourful with a variety of in-season veggies. My boyfriend had the scallop fettuccine and said it was the best pasta dish he’s ever had.To drink, I enjoyed the blueberry lavender lemonade so much that I ordered two!This restaurant is officially on our summer bucket list, can’t wait for next season.

Scallop and risotto was the special of the day great choice . Wife had mushroom wellington with bistro salad . The salad was fresh and delicious. But the wellington was very salty and not well cooked. The service by Alexa was excellent .

Lovely restaurant! The vegan option was delicious and satisfying. The blueberry lemonade mocktail was refreshing. My group also enjoyed the scallops and halibut special.

Spectacular meal, it's one of those hidden gems spots. From the blueberry lemonade, to fresh greens, haddock or scallops there was no flaws on our table to be found. Bravo!

The kind of place that makes me think, Why leave the island?My family and I decided to stop in for lunch when staycationing around Cavendish. La Rose offered up a compact lunch menu, a good sign, my wife opted for Seafood Chowder, I chose the P&K Pork belly kimchi sandwich, and my daughter got the Alfredo noodles kids lunch.All three of us were very impressed with our meal. My wife commented that the chowder was thick with generous portions of haddock, salmon, mussels and scallops. My pork belly sandwich was served with a side of incredible potato salad (fyi, I dislike potatoes so this was especially inpressive) that tased of pickle ginger. The pork belly and kimchi was on an obviously fresh bun, and the smoked pork flavours were subtle. They didn't have to resort to over doing sauces or similar.My daughter commented that the Alfredo noodles were so good we had to come back and all of us get the se thing next time.We decided to try the dessert, they had a feature with a sample of all three desserts. Each one (a chocolate smoores cake, strawberries and custard, and caramel carrot cale) was a pleasure, and a stand out example of how to make it right. Fresh fruit, fresh cream, fresh flavours.The staff were attentive and engaged with my young daughter as if she were a grown up, this made the whole lunch memorable for the family. With bistro in the title and food this good you might expect it to be pretentious, but worry not, this is a down to earth spot serving up great food and friendly service. Recommended for anyone in Cavendish for lunch or dinner.

This is our favorite restaurant on the north shore! The food is ALWAYS 100%! Chef Greg, Teegan and The La Rose Bistro are amazing!! We are true ambassadors!
