Had a very terrible experience with employee named Debbie at the self checkout. Eavesdropping in our conversation and belittling us, telling us how to scan our products. A real “Karen” at its finest, she didn’t like what we were talking about and swore about something and she instantly called to a manager because she didn’t like what she heard from our conversation that wasn’t even directed to her. She made a scene and embarrassed us in front of every other customer in the lineup, she stereotypes and belittles people. She belittled 2 other couples before us, she is a racism and stereotypical lady. Management handled it accordingly but still not impressed by what transpired. Not sure if I’ll ever be shopping at Kelowna Walmart again.

Walmart Kelowna is the WORST to try and call. This has happened more than once for me. Today I called 3 times; the first 2 times after ringing for up to 5 minutes the calls were finally picked-up only to immediately hang up on me. But I persisted and after another 3 minutes of ringing a third time someone finally answered and transferred me to the hardware department, or so I thought. Again, after ringing for another 4 minutes I finally got a human voice; only to find out I was transferred to the wrong department. Was told to call again. Because of my hesitancy to do so, I asked to be transferred to the hardware department or back to customer service; only to hear that voice asking someone how to transfer calls and then that human hung up on me too! It has now been 30-minutes of my life that I will never get back again and I still am no farther ahead on getting the information needed for a purchase. Will try somewhere else and hopefully be treated as a valued customer!

Alright but not great. You'll usually be able to find whatever you need. Prices online don't always match what's in the store, they had a Nintendo Switch advertised online at a very low price, but when I went in the store it was more expensive. If you accidentally buy the wrong thing, if you kept the receipt, they let you return it easily with no problem. Sometimes when I'm trying to leave, they stop me and check my bags and receipt, as if I'm a criminal, I really dislike that.

Control the food.Control the people.Last year a can of Heinz baked beans were .87cents. Today it is $1.97. We are told inflation is 7per cent. Truth is inflation is7per cent every 3-4 weeks. Big corporations are trying to starve us out.EXTRA...Now you can buy a 9 pack of Heinz beans for $9.00. Just goes to show overall lower bean sales from high prices so people stopped buying them so you can bulk buy them for $1.00 per can in bulk now. This shows there is no inflation only corporate greed. Shame on you Wal Mart shame.

Worst management ever. Employees are unaware of products are constantly speaking in their own mother tongue which to my mind is extremely rude in a work environment. So many products are missing price markers just altogether terrible merchandising. It seems that very little attention is given to what is expected as customer service representative.

I was getting groceries and I went to full service till and I set up my cloth bags to be filled and the cashier wasn't placing items in bags. When I questioned her saying if I wanted to pack my own groceries I would've went to self checkout....she ignored me. And then a gentleman of the same nationality (east indian) came over and they struck up conversation with each other in their language completely ignoring me which I find very rude in any other language other than English as we are in Canada so speak Canadian, they are the immigrants of our country not us! I am far from prejudice as I am Canadian indigenous and I dont walk around speaking cree at my workplace especially in hospitality industry. I've noticed a very high percentage of east Indian people working at Walmart. So if this is the case you should be training your employees proper etiquette when serving the Canadian public!! For me I will be going elsewhere to shop superstore or save on foods until things change at Walmart.

I've just about had it with your click and collect service. The endless errors, the complete mix-up of my groceries (gave me someone elses groceries), and I cannot count how many times you put my BREAD AT THE BOTTOM OF THE BAG!!!!! To then pile the heaviest of my items on top! Stop putting bread items in with everything else. If you do, PUT IT ON TOP! Same with chips. Just terrible service.Please end this, and train your staff to pack groceries better. It's the smallest of thing's that would make a tremendous improvement.

We ordered a vacuum online, and after an hour of being left by customer service reps who ‘went to find our order’ and never came back, we approached customer service to get some help. We were then helped by a manager Richard, who took our experience from 0 stars to 5. He was apologetic, understanding, and empathetic to how frustrated we were. He was thorough in looking for the model we ordered, and when he couldn’t find it he was prompt in finding a solution that we were happy with. While we did waste an entire afternoon in Walmart when we had better places to be, Richard was a great help and turned our experience around.
