Arts Court

Wonderful place they just need to get the last of the Reno's done to make it more accessible for mobility impaired. It's a quite a walk around if you can't do stairs.... But the shows are totally worth it!!!

One of the few places that has this hip vibe in Ottawa without it being too snobbish for approach. I would say an institution anyone should have some connection to, for cultural purposes in the city. I dislike the architecture of the mall across the Daly avenue here, which contrasts the gothic nature of this building in an intrusive way. But I also had not been in Ottawa long before to know how it looked prior to the mall was erected.Anyways the photos are from a performance in fall of 2015 if I am not mistaken.

A great community centre for arts. They have a large variety in visual, performance and interactive arts on a daily basis. The layout of the place can be a bit confusing but it's an older building. The rooms are extremely big and this is great for art facilities. Overall this is a gem within the city. Go check it out!

The Arts Court is a fun venue with a variety of performances! I've been there for burlesque shows, Holiday variety shows, and the Rocky Horror Picture Show. It's a great spot for something out of the ordinary.

Opening night was wonderful with huge crowds, new everything, cool exhibits, entertainment, dancing and more. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, looking forward to returning regularly.

I love coming to this arts complex. Over the years, I have attended art exhibits, book launches, a dance show, gone to the Ottawa Fringe Festival, and attended other special events. You can also go to concerts, films, and other cultural/arts events here.
