So disappointing on many levels…Not sure new ownership or management but why the sudden turn to customer service and compassion. Let’s not forget respect and trust.My dog is seriously ill. Called the emergency line got Nikki. Explained my dog’s condition was told to bring down right away. Adviced her I’m a long long time customer. Can pay bill fully upfront would need to possibly split it. Made arrangements in the past when emergency’s happened. Previous payment arrangements were simply spitting the bill and paying half in a week to clear finances. Was told sorry can’t help you. Was told people pay for groceries up front no different here! Really this is how you treat and talk to loyal long term customers, horrible.Let’s not forget the great advice one of your vets gave us in the past which was the wrong advice and caused us to miss possible treatment of our late dog’s tumour. Should’ve know better then but know now.Just a heads up if you’re looking for a vet who’s respectful with customer service in a time of emergency this is not your vet.

Dr. Duncan was very informative about everything our new cat needed. Everyone was extremely friendly and cleared me bringing my kids along for the appointment (and Dr. Duncan even included them in our cat's check-up).Everyone was friendly and professional, everything ran right on time, and we got some bloodwork done that came back within hours.All in all, a great experience - I would recommend central vet to anyone.Thank you!

Central Vet has been my go to vet for many, many years. They’ve always made me feel worthy and that my pets are important. They’ve taken care of my horse, my cats and even gave me advice about my tropical fish. At the time they didn’t have a vet specializing in turtles but they gave me the name of another vet at their competitor to help with my turtle. That tells you right there that they care more about my pet than the money.One of my cats was diagnosed with diabetes and the vets and the technicians were instrumental in helping me manage it successfully for two years. Unfortunately the diabetes caused kidney failure. I called June 6 understandably upset and the receptionist was so very kind and understanding. She got me in the same day. Dr Heidi ran tests and confirmed the worst. She gave me all my options and supported my decisions with kindness and without judgement. Nikki was the technician and she too, was so compassionate.I had never put an animal down at a vet and was overwhelmed with everything. They offered me to stay as long as I needed, they offered to leave me alone to grieve, they offered emotional support. I was a complete wreck and I could see the sadness on their faces but they will remained professional.They were even very gentle when it came time for payment and cremation options.They are a 40 minute drive from me on a good day and I would never think of going somewhere else. The compassion and judgement free zone is why I will bring all of my animals here.

They were amazing with my 1 year old puppy who struggles with anxiety! They are truly so caring and patient with my dog who struggles with super anxiety. They take everything slowly and do not upsell expenses treatments- they give you options and understand how tough the decisions we have to make for our fur babies and our family are. Thank you so much for taking care of all our animals for the last 30 plus years!!

My puppy needed major surgery so my local vet referred me here. All the staff were knowledgeable, kind, and very helpful. They took very good care of my puppy and were fantastic about explaining things to me. I also really appreciated their after hours service. Would definitely recommend Central Veterinary Services

To date, we have never had a smooth experience with Central Vet. The team is disorganized, the business model is price gouging, and the associates leave much to be desired. In our experience being a client for over 5 years at this clinic, we’ve had astronomically inflated quotes for our dogs’ procedures compared to two other local vet clinics; getting a prescription filled is like pulling teeth, and the staff are never available over phone, and in person are short, uninformed and largely don’t know what’s going on. Standing in front of the desk, they refuse to acknowledge you until they absolutely have to, not even deigning to give a “I’ll be with you momentarily”. We’ve successfully been able to reach a staff member over the phone every 2 out of 10 phone calls.Overall, no idea why we’ve stuck with this clinic for this long. Switching over to a different clinic as a result of our terrible experiences.

I brought my dog in to get Titre Tested. The process was super fast. We were in and out of the clinic in 10 Minutes. Results were emailed super fast as well, within 1-2 hours. Staff were friendly and the price of the test was very acceptable. Thanks Central Vet, will come again!

We took our goldendoodle to Central Vet for the first time to get another opinion on dental cleaning. We met with Dr. Duncan, she was amazing, gave us great information. We will be making Central Vet our primary veterinarian. We would highly recommend Central Vet.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable. They were upfront and honest. Discussed all costs before any actions taken. Our veterinarian Samyra was amazing!!

Speedy service and so friendly and kind to our dog, who gets very scared in these kinds of settings. They also pre-filled our summer prescriptions for June 1 as we were delayed in booking her yearly assessment, so our pup was covered and safe :). We love it here!
