Amazing fast, efficient service from Eric L. Sent image of part I needed. He answered quickly and curbside pickup was flawless. He even provided a part I did not know I would need. Impressive

EDIT: I emailed them that I cannot use the telephone and guess what? They called me!!!! Really!?!?!?!I am a contractor and I want to shop at Boone but it's always frustrating! Website lacks information I need. I cant touch and inspect the materials. I have to tell someone what I need even if I don't know what its called, the staff are helpful but often gets it wrong. At Home Depot, I just grab what I need.Here's a real problem: Boone answer phones all the time, but takes days to answer emails. Very frustrating when you can't use the phones. They don't care. Homedepot pro desk answers emails promptly. Boone thinks emails are not urgent and people should use the telephone. It's 2023 now. I ended up ordering from other stores often while I wait for a reply from Boone.(PS, there one guy who helps me alot, but he is not always available, why isn't there someone who responds to emails along with the telephone calls?).

Absolutely horrible customer service extremely rude to new customers and extremely over priced. For instance Needed a 6 foot 1 1/4 inch copper tube and it's not a product available at your local hardware store. Went to Boone absolutely no other customers there 3 employees at the desk not one acknowledges me. Wait a few minutes and still nothing, approach the counter and am told to waiting in a unfriendly tone. Finally asked what I needed told them and was laughed at and told they only sell it in 12 foot lengths and it $80. Not willing to pay $80 I left went to Preston Hardware they had the exact product I needed for only $29.99. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

This began as a 2-star review:So far we have had below-average service from this place. We put in the order, had the written amount, and when the product arrive they wanted to charge us more than the invoice amount. We had to argue with the people there (incredible this had to go on, actually) to get the price THEY had established. Yes, we had the invoice in hand. Obviously, that's reprehensible service. Now we found out that what's delivered is the wrong size -- and it's their mistake. We now have to go back tomorrow and talk to them about it. Will Boone Plumbing do the right thing this time? They didn't on the pricing and we had to fight for what they promised. So let's see. There's always small claims court, of course, but we shall see. But I would warn anyone dealing with this store to look out for these types of business practices. It's a big, very-professional-looking store that doesn't seem to deliver what you think they should. Stay tuned please.UPDATE #1: We were at Boone today about the problem with the sizing of a bathroom unit we purchased. Great service. The sales rep was somewhat knowledgeable but our contractor sorted out the details of the build. In the end i give it 4 stars for the service department. We had issues with some of the products we purchased and when we called the service department they replaced the parts at no expense with no questions asked. At one point they even called the manufacturer to provide us with the replacement parts as well. Short wait and once arrived we were called to pick it up. We are very pleased with the service and enjoy our renovations.

We purchased all our fixtures from Boone / Mondeau. We have had issues with several of them. Our new master bath was unusable for a year because of a product Boone / Mondeau recommended. It turned out to be quite flimsy and plagued by design flaws that caused it to fail within a month or two. Although they did try to assist us in dealing with the manufacturer, there was a lot of miscommunication due to incorrect info / excuses from the manufacturer and too many people and email threads. We really would have preferred it if Boone would have taken ownership of the problem, gotten it fixed, and then dealt with the manufacturer themselves. After six months the manufacturer finally sent someone to provide a partial fix. It did not completely solve the problems so we had our contractor come and do a more thorough repair at our own expense (over $1k). We also had a shower-head that failed, and the salesperson we spoke to did not offer to have it repaired, but suggested we buy a new one at our own expense. We had to contact the manufacturer ourselves, who thankfully replaced the bad components. Boone / Mondeau's prices are high for the average walk-in customer, unless you make your purchases through a contractor who will pass on the builder's discount. We were devastated by our unusable new bathroom and Boone's failure to take ownership of the problem and resolve it in a timely manner. The initial sales help we received there was excellent, but due to problems with the order and poor after-service, I would have some reservations about shopping there again.
