It is so difficult to get an appointment or answers. I have all my Corporate, Perisomal, Spouses and Children's Account at the Branch in North Burnaby. Some how my Spousal RRSP ended up at the Fairview Branch where ever that is, I have made two calls ,over 1/2 hour each, to two dunces that in the end could not even give me an appointment in person, or phone or dog sled. They finally gave me the branch phone no.Here's the laugh; what did I ask for in the first place-you guessed it , the phone no!

Huge thanks to Franco (I think that was his name) for helping me. I’ve had a credit card with Vancity for over a year and not really understood how it worked. He took the time to explain it fully, when the best time to pay of my statement to build credit and how I had been doing since getting the card. He even recommended some changes to the card profile I could make to get the most out of my account. I believe he was training someone during our interaction so Vancity clearly know he represents the Credit union fantastically well but if you haven’t already get that man a raise!!!

Why is a bank the purports to support businesses only open until 3 o’clock in the afternoon. Those hours do not work for me and my business. When The branch is open there’s a huge lineup outside and many of the services are shut down. (coin counting machine) Extend your hours and you may gain my support back. I am taking my business away from your institution.

Forgot my PIN number so I asked the lady at the information booth if I needed to line up for the teller to reset it, she said yes. So I lined up after 5 customers, when It was my turn, said my request, was asked for my ID, my password to use banking, removed my mask to match my id, the teller then gave me a small piece of paper with instruction saying I can change the PIN number at the ATM myself? Told her why the lady at the booth told me to line up!? the teller said really with eye rolled. I walked out, they both wasted my time, touched my ID, bank card unnecessarily with this Covid going on..no hand sanitizer in sign to clean!??. Not my regular branch so I will not coming back

I Have been with Vancity for over 8 years now. They have always been inconsistently helpful.Their computer system seems to be down half the time. Their hours are mediocre (of course) and their mobile and web based services are laughable compared to others. The only thing that has kept me around is reasonable rates however their unreliability is forcing me to switch to a different solution.

Queer friendly in my experience, kind, personable, super thorough and efficient for more complex deposits (multiple cheques and multiple deposit book pages).Update about hours: they've finally been able to extend their hours back to 5pm instead of 3pm. I see this as somewhat of an improvement for us 9-5ers (I can now leave work early and make the work deposit on my way home!). Here's hoping it remains safe enough to continue these hours!Update about the Qless app: they seem to no longer be offering this service.

Shout out to the always excellent customer service oriented people at this Branch, just going above and beyond the call of duty, from Ashleigh and Ervin and Maya and today also Aygul, who helped me ensure we got funding today for a mutual mortgage client including staying with me after 3 pm to ensure we got the funds.

DO NOT BANK with Vancity. Worst bank/credit union ever. Constantly getting locked out of my account and having to call them everytime to unlock it. Complete waste of time. When i signed up for a business account with them the lady seemed like i was such a burden and was super rude. I went back for help a few months later and she still was so rude. I will never use them again.
