King Pacific Lodge

I recently had the opportunity to fish from king pacific lodge and I must say that it was a great experience. My guide Ben put us on fish everyday and had a great knowledge of the area . He truly made my trip. The food was amazing and you never had to look far for the friendly staff as they were always close and ready to help with anything you made need. I even had the privilege of chatting with the owner George and getting a little info on the mechanics of the lodge, which was very interesting. At the end of my trip I was tied by very satisfied we fished hard had fun. Thanks again Ben for the wonderful experience.

Be ready to work 12+ hour days and only get paid for 10. The work itself is fun and the management is responsible and looks after you. Overtime pay doesn't exist even when you're scheduled more than the pay rate. The reasoning for this was described by the owner as essentially that's just the way it is

I've been lucky enough to experience many of the fishing lodges on the BC coast and I can report that King Pacific is hands down the best setup on the coast. Great fishing, great lodge, great people, great food. The lodge is so nice my wife loves enjoys the experience (spa, jacuzzi, steam room). The best fishing grounds are literally 3 minutes from the lodge. We have been twice and both times we got our limits on salmon and halibut.
