Super nice people, amazing cruise itineraries, good food, lots of fun things to do, lots of choices. You can really have the vacation of your dreams and the vacation of your life. Save your money. We spent over $20,000 in Oct. 2018 for a 'river cruise' that turned into the world's most expensive bus trip. Water levels are so low that ships aren't sailing and have been having problems since spring so there's no doubt Scenic was well aware of this. However, they neglected to tell us until they day before we left Canada, that we would be staying in a hotel the first night but the normal sailing schedule would resume the next day. Nope. We spent 2 weeks crammed on buses going from hotel#1 to ship #1 to ship #2 to hotel #2 to ship #3. I've never spent so much time packing and unpacking. Got sick from being on buses with coughing, sneezing passengers. No leisurely sailing down the river for us. We missed a lot of things that were advertised, and the only people who got to see castle ruins were those on the left side of the bus as we zoomed by at 100 km/hr. There is no food, beverage or butler service on a bus, and the washrooms were barely adequate. We stood in line and paid for washrooms at truck stops along the highway. One day it was 10 hours from the time we boarded the bus at hotel #2 until we piled out at ship #3, and that time included 2 hours in rush hour traffic. SCENIC has not responded to my e-mails and their River Cruise Guarantee" gives us $3

This was our first river cruise with Scenic. We took the Gems of the Danube with Prague cruise. The ship was beautiful, staff was amazing, and food was exceptional. Especially loved the wine pairings at dinner.Whether we spent the day on board taking in the beautiful scenery, or took one of the many tour options, everyday was a memorable experience. Our Scenic cruise was top notch every step of the way! Already planning our next one!Highly recommend!!

Highly, highly recommend Scenic and Emerald Waterways. Great time onboard for the 2022 Christmas Markets RiverCruise on the Danube, sailing from Budapest to Vienna, with 32 friends & family! I can't rave enough about our river cruise with Scenic. We were on the Scenic Amber for the Danube plus Prague tour. It was first class all the way! The Grandium Hotel in Prague, where our tour started, was lovely and the buffet breakfast was exceptional.The bus that took us to Nuremberg to board the ship was clean and very comfortable. As soon as we stepped on the Amber we were spoiled. From beginning to the end of our trip. Our Sapphire suite was perfect. The beds were a dream and having a Pillow Menu was the cherry on top! Loved the balcony with the window and bug screen we could lower.The meals and wine pairings are second to none. All the staff were amazing! Special kudos to Lukasz our Cruise Director and his sidekick Christina for looking out for us each step of the way. Also to our favourite waiters Branko and Lazar who always made sure we were well taken care of. Vlasko our butler and Barry our housekeeper ensured we were always comfortable and had everything we needed.This was truly a trip of a lifetime and being treated like royalty was something we had never experienced before. We highly recommend Scenic cruises and can't wait to cruise with them again.

We went from Amsterdam to Budapest.This is a first class luxury company. Everything is taken care of once you have booked your cruise.I highly recommend Scenic . You can't go wrong.

Scenic cancelled our group’s Tulip Time River Cruise ONE WEEK before departure. The reason given was the war in Ukraine. Really? Our trip was in Amsterdam and Belgium - no where close to Eastern Europe! Then, they would not give our $$ back — after THEY cancelled at the last minute. Plus, they refused to honor our travel agent’s commission! Outrageous! For some people in the group - this was their third booking attempt (past cancellations due to COVID). Imagine how many uncompensated hours have been spent by this travel agent! This was going to be our first trip with Scenic — but forget it! Headed back to our favorite river cruise line - AMA Waterways - who accommodated our group at the last minute to avoid a vacation disaster. Cruisers Beware!

Cruise and tour cancelled due to Covid. We had paid our full fares and due to Covid won't be able to take a future cruise - no vaccine to protect me . They will not refund our fares etc in excess of $30,000. This is our life savings and we cannot afford to let this go. Terrible to deal with. Not our fault and they didn't deliver.REFUND please!

Amsterdam to Zurich trip was fabulous. Scenic spoiled us during the entire trip. We will be back on Scenic in the future. We are thinking Portugal next.

My wife and I have completed two extended tours with Scenic. Our first tour was in 2018, spanning 35 days starting in Cape Town, South Africa, and ending in Cairo, Egypt. It included seven Safaris, each in different parks and five different countries (South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and Kenya). The accommodation and transportation were outstanding, as was the food and guides. It was a magical experience that we'll never forget and will possibly return to visit some other parks one day. The last 10 days were spent touring the ancient archeological sights in Egypt, which included four days on a Nile cruise and a spectacular flight to visit Abu Simbel. The quality of the accommodations, guides, food, and transportation greatly exceeded our expectations throughout the entire tour, which prompted us to embark on a second extended tour hosted by Scenic in SE Asia in early 2020. This tour spanned 30 days, which included three magical days cruising Halong Bay and seven wonderful days cruising the mighty Mekong river. The remaining 20 days involved land travel throughout Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, with a final stop in Bangkok. Once again, the accommodations, transportation, food, and service greatly exceeded our expectations, and we are now considering options for our next Scenic adventure.
