Hi, heres our 1st time experience with Lauzon Stonework. We have a property that is off grid, with a 7km private rd. After several emails with Petula and Ken and scheduling a time to meet july 19, 2022 which was suppose to be 11am got pushed to 1:30pm the day of. Now remembering we are off grid and limited cell and internet service, which i thoroughly explained to them. After 45mins of trying to locate Ken with our atv within the area, we found him, again lack of communication prior to the visit. The purpose of the trip was for Ken to ride the road and finalize the dimensions in the time we were up as we were suppose to leave that day to go back home. When we finally drove in together he explained that the road was a little rough as he witnessed the repair work getting done widening and flattening the road. He maybe took 5mins max at looking our kitchen, after declining the job which was a fair size kitchen, he then asked if he could have $100 for gas money. Are you for real Ken. I'm still in shock as that was the first time ever I experienced someone coming to our place and asking for gas money. And we had many contractors on the property prior in worse road conditions. However, the purpose of the visit was for Ken to see if the access was good and to take final measurements. I new by his expression when he arrived that he was not interested in the job and really thats fine, but omg ...asking for $100 ....my husband, very kind and non arguement did give him the money. But maybe next time Lauron ask questions, do your due diligence, read emails thoroughly.For potentials customers out there, Lauzon Stonework was not a professional company at all, be warned. Very disappointed with that whole outcome.

Service started great… the owner was even kind enough to come in on a Saturday to show us samples.Unfortunately it went downhill from there. They no showed for multiple appointments without even a phone call to cancel. Eventually they came to install it, but forgot about the back splash that was supposed to be with it. They didn’t drill the right amount of insert holes for the sink. Eventually they came back to fix those issues, but the backsplash was too short and didn’t even line up with the counter. I called and texted the owner about it with no response.They are obviously over booked, rushed, have no respect for other peoples time, and lack pride in their work.

They were easy to work with and assisted along the way to make it as simple as possible. Sales helped us choose out our products, considering the ongoing restriction, they were quick to precision measure and install. The installers were respectful and did an amazing job. Cleaned up and walked us through the completed results.
