Great sushi spot with gluten free rolls + soy sauce. Love it here! The portion sizes are big but dining in isn’t always the best with the atmosphere and somewhat slow.

This is my favourite sushi restaurant in Ottawa. Always very fresh and flavourful. Excellent green tea as well. Try the Yummy Roll!

Best spicy salmon in town for sure. I have been eating sushi for years now and nothing compares. We order it almost every week. Thanks for the great food and great service!

When you first walk in the place my seem a bit crowded but once you sit down it is not that bad. The food, service and especially the presentation are great. I would suggest sharing one of the platters. It is a better bang for your buck. If you are really hungry order an appetizer because the sushi will take some time.

MHK Sushi takes sushi and sashimi to a whole new level with the cucumber-wrapped rolls. The ambiance is nice, the staff is friendly and the food is fantastic. If you're new to sashimi, try the Osaka Sashimi Platter; it's essentially a sampler of all the types of sashimi that they offer.

This sushi is worth every single dollar! After eating grocery store sushi during the pandemic, I read a tweet by a friend, and decided to order from MHK. I had spring rolls, they were good. I ordered two different rolls, the rainbow roll and the ocean roll. The sushi was so beautiful, I didn’t want to eat it. Once I had the first piece done, I knew this was no all-you-can-eat sushi. It was as good as the best sushi I’ve ever had (in North America).

I just want to metion the great service my family and I received. The young gentleman who was our server was very attentive and accommodating. We made a request for our daughter and he made it happen without hesitation.

This is the worst sushi and customer service I have ever received.. fish is not fresh and smelled bad, and was difficult to eat . the spicy salmon and tuna rolls are stacked with tempura which was an unfortunate surprise as the menu does not say that they contained tempura. I guess the owner wants to make it seem like they are selling you fish but in reality the rolls are full of batter. When I called to complain the owner completely dismissed my concern about the menu misrepresentation. She simply said that it is how we make it and hung up.. when you order spicy salmon and spicy tuna from other places it is actually all fish.. so either the owner is cheap or has no clue what constitutes good sushi. Go to rice and roll, or sushi umi. This is a huge waste of money and the rolls are so big and full of rice that you can’t even fit them in your mouth. Obviously the 10 star rating is a complete fabrication. Probably got a bunch of family and friends to rate them on skip. AVOID this place if you can. Especially if you have dietary restrictions. I am really hoping I do not get sick and I will be sharing this experience with all the people in my life that know and meet in future.
