I've been using the services at Capilia for the last 4 years. The entire staff truly cares about you as a client. Their pricing is very reasonable compared to comparable services elsewhere.The owner is on site most of the time and is very personable. If you suffer from thinning hair, they have many options to fit any budget. You won't be disappointed.

The best thing I can say about this business is that they care.My idea of cold medical people was broken & these guys really showed me how much they care for their clients.The problem for me was my receding hair line . It made me look older than my 40 years.Now the actual surgery if you wish to call it that was a breeze".Pricing was great considering the results I have now.A big thank you to the whole team at Capilia! A friend of mine had issues with his hair within a few weeks of first application. He attempted to schedule an appointment to have the issue resolved. Hair was literally falling out of the cap... they refused to fix the shotty product they provided for him without further payments even though he was told that the product and satisfaction was guaranteed. The director was also extremely unprofessional and did nothing to resolve the issue and refused to provide a refund for the product.

These people are amazing. Their shampoo is the only one I can use without losing hair. In addition to their usual gracious customer service in the office, I just had the experience of, after a failed at-home hair mask, the owner Jocelyn driving to my house after hours to drop off the products I needed, with written instructions, and a free toothcomb (which proved essential)!! They did not charge me anything extra despite the fact that I phoned after hours! If it were not for these people I would very likely have had to shave my head. The mixture that I had put in my hair was truly like cement. I have never had such compassionate care from a hair salon.

I contacted this salon through their website and let them know that I had lost my hair due to chemotherapy. They offered me a free consultation and once I was there, told me there was nothing they could do to help me as I lost my hair due to cancer treatment. They then sold me a wig- a very expensive wig that was non-returnable. I have bought other similar wigs online for a fraction of the cost.They profited based on my vulnerability and then when I complained replied What did I expect?". I expected to get help for my hair loss and they mislead me."

Please AVOID Capilia and/or any other business under this name (Caralyn's, Regency Hair, etc.) This type of business is NOT REGULATED. They're more concerned of taking your money and NOT producing the final product/service that you were expecting. The owner (Mr. Jocelyn Brazeau)'s unscrupulous business practices are inexplicably mind-boggling. I've worked, lived and travelled all over the world and across Canada, but I didn't realize some businesses in Ottawa were that shady. This ONE takes top prize! Not all businesses in Ottawa are unethical, but you have to be careful with this one. PLEASE, I beg, do your research and shop around before you pay for anything. Always ASK for proof, samples, etc.; DON'T trust what they're saying is legitimate. I have proof (in black and white) that what they're doing and saying is different than what I expected and paid for.

Amazing service, staff take the time to make sure everything works well for you and listens to your need. the treatments they offer are very thoughtfully explained and they work like a charm. Couldn't ask for better!

PUBLIC please be aware of this place. I first went for a consultation at ottawa Capilia. I was told to take 3 sessions of PRP to see the results. Daniel was the Nurse who treat for the PRP through injection. He claims that he has done more than 2000 sessions. Session was very painful and Daniel ended up hurting my my Scalp Nerve. It was such a painful session for me. couple of days after my session when I called the office they said will let Daniel know about it. Daniel then told me that I was UNLUCKY" to get hit on the Nerve. I was not given any remedy for the nerve injury. They never answer emergency number mentioned in the website. I am still suffering from pain after 6 months. These guys have no clue what they are doing. Please always choose a Dermatologist rather than these cosmetic clinics where whatever they claim is complete False."

I've had a great experience at Capilia. For year's I've been jealous of mean with full heads of hair. I hated sitting at the front of rooms knowing I was exposing my shiny bald spot to the world. I thought about just wearing wigs so I wouldn't have to worry about it, and a friend googled non-surgical hair replacement methods, and Capilia came up. I wanted it as soon as I saw a sample piece. I tell everyone about my hair system now, and no one can believe it isn't my own. And it has taken a decade off of my physical appearance. I am very happy with the results. The hair system requires a bit more care, but following the advice of the Capilia staff, I keep on looking great!

The service has been so fantastic, they made me feel comfortable, and answered all my questions in regards to my hair loss! Finally made a decision to move forward with the hair transplant! Great decision, I feel SO good about myself.
