36 days since requesting service in a neighborhood where every house has fiber except ours and the only option is Baldwin LightStream. After numerous calls and emails I just now got informed that I will be sent a first invoice and once I pay I can expect to wait another 3-4 weeks for the cable to be connected and buried. Why wasn’t this sent over a month ago?Informing them that I need Internet access to earn money and that there is no alternative for getting a proper connection neither resulted in customer oriented solution finding „They don’t do temp lines.“ nor empathy or any kind of idea from their end.This is a ridiculously slow process for a company holding the monopoly over the region. Unfortunately I will have to support this business if I want any chance on a proper internet connection. @Xfinity @Comcast where are you?

This service is good and they offer several package options with fair prices. Their employee April is so kind and knows just what she's doing! Anytime I call, I will be asking for April!

I had some questions on the new service and them some problems with sign in. Later due to a power outage the router would not reboot. Anne to the rescue fixed all my issues and was very caring, pleasant and just a wonderful person to talk with. I certainly hope that all of you can appreciate this person and her business ethics.

When it works the service is good but in the 2.5 months I have had service it seems to be out for a day every few weeks. Editing to say also that my guess is they have a 3rd party company handle after hours and weekend CS as they have been consistently unhelpful and seemingly ignorant of service issues if that's not the case they may want to re-evaluate their team.

Service went out, told me it would take 3 days before I could get a technician out. It is extortion in the Town of Troy as they have no competition. They have horrible customer service.

Light stream installer technician Riley came out and installed fiber internet setup. Asked me what I wanted, explained the setup and install and had system up and running very quickly. Great service, communication and final instal. Much appreciated

Horrible experience all around - Extremely unfortunate how this local company chooses to interact with their future customers.- The front desk staff/ladies were always great when I called to speak with them. It was the General Manager and the Prep Work/Operations Planner/Manager who continuously showed no concern for the actions of the company.We were supposed to have prep work done on 10/12 at 6:00PM. Due to timing issues, I unfortunately didn’t get home until 5:57PM, however the technician was already there and gone (arrived just before 5:50 and left prior to 5:55), not even waiting for our scheduled appointment time. I then called BLS that evening and was informed that the technician wouldn’t be coming back to complete the work and that it had to be rescheduled. [Mind you, I left work early & had to pick up my child from daycare before getting home for our appointment].I called and expressed my displeasure to the general manager and requested to be compensated for the inconvenience - He reiterated numerous times that “they’re a busy company” and the prep-work-installer “left within 10 minutes of the appointment” completely ignoring my frustration that his employee didn’t even wait until our scheduled appointment time before he left. I advised I would connect with my husband to determine whether or not we would be using BLS moving forward.Come to 10/27, our rescheduled appointment. 6:00PM comes and goes with no sign of the prep-work technician - I called and was advised our services had been cancelled. I again spoke with the GM with no avail.Overall, it’s a shame that this is the “best option” for internet in our area. I hope if other residents choose to go with them, they have better customer service interactions with the staff here.

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. Ive called 8-10 times over the last 6 months to get internet hooked up. we will call you" was the only response I could get "we have no idea when internet will be ready".So next week my neighbor is getting his installed and hooked up

We need more competition in the area, the service is terrible. I pay more for the higher speed and it is no different at all...Misc. disconnects, no credit back, no apologies. More people working from home and these guys are terribly unreliable!
