One of the worst shops I have been in Vancouver. The old gentleman on the counter is astoundingly rude and judgemental. Moreover, most of the products in the store are substandard and over priced.I will not recommend anyone to visit the store.

Terribly overpriced items - definitely don’t pay those prices as you’ll be able to find most things at a fraction in other small shops along the street or in Surrey/other Indian areas in town. Shop owner is as many reviews have cited - extremely rude, unwelcoming and strangely doesn’t seem to want customers in the store or touching merchandise. Very odd and unpleasant experience visiting. Do not recommend.

This shop does not deserve the name of Mother nor India, worst customer service. Most unorganized display of items, the owner is very very rude. None of the products have rate nor the owner answers any questions. He does not want any customer to spend more than 5 minutes in store to buy stuff. I would never visit nor recommend this store to anyone.

I was looking for the cross street of Mother India yesterday so was on Google to look it up and was very surprised they have such a low rating. Many of my friends and I are loyal customers of this place. We have been here countless times and the owner is nothing but pleasant every single time.In fact, I look forward to shopping here because he is always so genuine, helpful and nice.Everything is stacked neatly so I am shocked to read some of the reviews that it is a messy place to shop at.For many of us, this is the most comprehensive puja shop in Vancouver. Highly recommend it!

The place was okay, got lots of goodies. Super organized. Staff, not so friendly so be prepared to know what you want. I asked for suggestions but they were not too keen to help me out. I don’t think they accept returns. Great finds and great deals if you are lucky.
