After a negative experience with the Land Rover dealership, I found Sandy Lane as an alternative. Absolutely the best automotive experience in 50 years. Friendly, helpful, patient. They explain things well, in a homey environment. They only charge for time they put in to a job. Very helpful if they get a job done in a fraction of the book time! I will never take my Range Rover anywhere else!

We have an older model, high km Volvo. We had a couple of concerns about how it was running, and taking it to the dealer is incredibly inconvenient because of location. So I booked an appointment online with Sandy Lane.Chris gave me a call in a timely manner to discuss our issues. He had lots of questions and immediately had ideas an dsuggestions for how to diagnose the issue without spending an arm and a leg.They got our car into the shop ahead of our appointment, and Chris kept us in the loop as they worked on the car.Unlike a lot of shops, they didn't try the hard sell and tell us we need to fix everything they found. They had suggestions for what should be done right away to solve our immediate issues, and then made suggestions about what can wait, what is potentially serious, and what isn't.We were very happy with the levels of care and attention, and are happy with the pricing.We will be bringing our Volvo back for sure.Thanks!

Timing belt replacement: As always Sandy Lane has provided me top notch and friendly service. I found Sandy Lane about 10 years ago when I first moved to Alberta. Each time I go, I am made to feel that my vehicle's mechanical well being is very important to them. They take the time to let me know what needs to be done and why. There are no surprises! The customer service is outstanding!

Staff and repairs were done with great detail and completed within promised time frame,excellent value and my car runs well and identified further maintenance needed and shown via video.

They have always been transparent with my diagnostics, clear about what needs to be fixed quickly and what can wait (great for being able to save and prepare for costs), and have offered transport to and from my home so as not to disrupt my schedule. I appreciate that they value continuing education for their staff in order to offer the most up-to-date and effective mechanical repair and maintenance for the ever-changing automotive technology.

Chris was great to deal with, quality work from their shop. Have a 2010 Mini that needed some love, they took care of it for me, and will continue to do so in the future. The car is my daily driver for work and I need it to be reliable, I feel I've gotten value for the work they've preformed... quotes and updates were bang on.
