Browns Cleaners

Will not go back ever again. Only *after* I paid the clerk, she informs me that there is a delay in drycleaning service due to their facilities moving this week and that she is not allowed to offer regular or express time frame. When I demanded a refund she refused, saying she doesn't know how to make a refund on the machine. No other staff or manager available on site to resolve the issue. Not acceptable business practice.

I dropped off several items to be dry cleaned here. I came to pick them up last Tuesday. Thankfully, I looked over my items before I left and noticed that my coat was still covered in dirt, in addition to noticing that the covering on some of button loops on the coat had been stripped by the cleaning. I brought the coat back in and they said they would reclean it. They told me it would be ready two days later. I came back a full week later (today) and my coat was not available, even though two other items that I had dropped off at the same time were. One of those items was returned to me with stains still on it that they said they could not get out, but I was still charged the same price. They also had no idea when my coat would be ready for me to pick up. I'm not pleased and I will not be going back.

One of the least efficient places to have items repaired. I was made to wait over two weeks and return three times also paying twice to have the services rendered that I had originally requested.

I went to Browns to have a purse cleaned. When I brought the purse in, I was told that it would be two weeks as they needed to send it to Toronto to be cleaned by the people they contract out to. Today (two weeks later) I came back to pick my purse up. It was at that point that I was told by one of the employees that my purse hadn't even been sent to Toronto yet. When I asked why it hadn't she had no answers for me and told me I could contact the owner on Monday. I decided at that point I would take my purse back and bring it somewhere else. When I asked her for it back, she asked me if I had already paid. I told her no and asked why. She replied that if I had I would not be able to get a refund. I find this outrageous given the extreme lack of service I was provided. It would have been one thing if they had sent it out and it was taking a bit more time to come back. But the fact that they couldn't even get organized enough to send it out within the two weeks they promised it would be done is ridiculous. I will never be bringing anything here again.

I arrived at this location 15 minutes before closing. I noticed a sign on the door stating “Back in 5 minutes”. After waiting 7 minutes I knocked on the door, nobody answered. I waited another 8 minutes, knocked, nobody responded so I left.After doing some shopping inside the mall I walked by and noticed that someone was finally inside taking down the “Back in 5 minutes” sign, 30 minutes or longer since it was put up. I tried talking to the Browns Cleaners worker, since I wasn’t pleased that I wasted over 15 minutes standing outside waiting for service. I was basically shooed away. After they came out of the store they told me that they “heard my knocking but was locked out”. This statement makes no sense, since if my knocking was heard from the inside, they would have to have been able to get out due to fire safety protocols.In summary, this whole situation shows a complete lack of care and respect for the customer. I will not be returning to this location and will think twice before going to Browns Cleaners again.I don’t recommend using this location.

I gave my almost new Uggs for cleaning. They were returned with a hole on it and look like someone scratched them. The company still charged me and said that the hole was there before. Will never use their services again. By the way, the owners of this place have similar last names to the people rating it 5 stars here! Could someone in Google investigate for fake rating?

Great Experience! The owners made this a not so happy mishap turn out to be a positive one. My parents took several items and one did not turn out so clean. But then definelty took care of them. They are very professional. Since they are famlily owned businesss they care of the small details that make a difference.
