Holiday Inn Calgary-Airport, an IHG Hotel

Our particular room had a ceiling that was...falling down? We told the front desk and they gave us a free breakfast for it...that was nice, since we weren't looking for hand outs, just informing them. The beds weren't the softest, bit they were clean. Not bad for a quick stay

Tight parking due to guargantuan oversized trucks of other patrons. Underwhelming foyer. Overpriced buffet breakfast. Newly renovated hallways. Room was a throwback to 1960's but suffered broken toilet tank top, and broken shower water faucet. The room door was extremely tight to open or to close. The only redeeming feature was enjoying the pool and hot tub in solitude.

Clean perfect room. Very helpful staff at the front desk and resturant, which I believe is one of the best breakfast layout I have seen. Free parking and yes Wi-Fi works staying for 3 nights. The shower had dove body wash, shampoo etc - it was luxury. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This hotel is one of the best in this area. I have been staying here for years. If you choose this place you won't be let down.I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was for one night, and checking in and out was very easy. I felt the price was also reasonable given the amenities. The staff was friendly and I liked my room. I wish the air conditioner was quieter but aside from that it was a great place to stay for the quick trip that it was.

My family of 3 spent 5 days in Calgary at this Holiday Inn and it was great. Room was clean and wasn't outdated. The door stuck open and made a bit of noise as it rubbed on the tile but nothing a minor sanding wouldn't fix. We stayed on the 2nd floor across from the Restaurant/Lounge and it wasn't noisey even late at night. The pool was terrific after a long day. Staff was very courteous and Friendly and were very helpful. The only thing that could be an issue is the distance to and from a C-Train if you're not driving in Calgary traffic and want to get around. Myself and my family would absolutely stay here again.
