Cryptic Characters
My friends and I did the Dungeon of Despair for my birthday and we had such a blast! I’ve done most of the escape rooms in the city and the set design and immersion Cryptic Characters had to offer in this room was absolutely top notch. It’s also a very fun addition having the game master in character, and the customer service overall was great. I can’t wait to come back!

Great room design, awesome puzzles. So far the best escape room I have been. The host is in character the whole time. We had a good time, highly recommended. Looking forward to their new rooms.

Cryptic Characters
I was unsure of what to expect at Cryptic Characters, I was glad my expectations were blown out of the water! The staff is not only friendly and fun, but has a true passion and focus with their escape rooms! The detail in the room is immersive, even down to how to communicate for clues. The puzzles align with the theme which is great to keep you immersed in the story. Lastly the optional extra challenge component was great and fun for our team! I would highly recommend checking out Cryptic Characters, and I know I will be back soon to try out more rooms!

This is by far the best escape room I've ever done. The puzzles fit to the theme of the room really well and it's overall an exciting and engaging experience. They are committed to creating an immersive experience, I'd gladly go back again!

Wowwww! A lot of effort and details were put into the escape room experience from the setting to the puzzles! We had fun and agreed this escape room has been the best from the many we've been to (host is in character, immersive setting, etc.)

We have been to many escape rooms and this one is definitely a new favorite. We enjoyed the attention to detail and the puzzles. Having the characters come to life is also pretty cool. We will definitely be going back and we are excited for the new rooms to come!

It was amazing escape room with awesome puzzles and emersion. The person that acted as the knight did his role perfectly and really heightened the experience. The staff was superb, we will definitely go back.

Great escape room experience! We did the Dungeon of Despair and had a blast. The host was great and added to the immersion, being in character and giving the backstory of the room. He was also great as the hint giver" and never broke character until we escaped the room. The puzzles were also well done and the set looked great! Will definitely be back to try the zombie room

Our group went to the zombie room and it was a blast! All of us agreed that this has been one of our favourite escape rooms from the many throughout the city we have been to. The detail and the thought put in each room was fun and kept us all on our toes to try and figure it out! Will definitely be back again!!

Cryptic Characters
Went here instead of the usual places that my friends and I like to go to. I had an amazing experience and would recommend to other people. I was a little skeptical at first because the place is new and there were so few reviews, but it turned out to be really fun! We did the Dungeon of Despair and I'll be doing the Containment Breach soon with my friends! Excited for the new space themed escape room as well! Our host also did really well as acting as a dungeon guard. Completed the whole experience!
