This trip was very good. Other times it is touch and go whether meal or service is going to be good. I feel there is not much for me. I don't like spicy food so my go to meal is always the country chicken with garlic mashed potatoes. It is usually pretty good. Sometimes food comes cold. I hate their coffee cups. The coffee comes out warm, but since cups are so big, the coffee cools down so fast. I like to enjoy my coffee with my meal but I always waste it. Servers always come around too slow for refills on pop or coffee. We mostly go there because two in our party like the Kapow shrimp. It is not on my list of favourites to eat.

Last time I went I ordered a 10 oz steak and it was basically still mooing, so today I order a 10 oz medium to well done, and the inside of the steak was like uncooked ground beef, just completely raw. the mashed potato’s were cold in the centre, fries were soggy and the gravy was more of a jello than anything. Great service though. I’ve giving it two chances, will not be returning.*after watching the movie “waiting” I am to afraid to return a plate of food to the kitchen.

A great place. Plenty of room, a decent bar with good tap options. I went there twice i like it so much. Try the brisket handheld.

Everything was delicious. But the waitress was extremely worry about something. She always asked would you like your bill"But we were still sitting there. We had just finished our lunch. She asked so many times that we felt like we had to leave. So we left... We were thinking of eating dessert though.."

Very short staffed, seemed like they probably had some fairly new staff so food took a while. A few errors were made including my steak being overcooked. When I brought this to the server's attention, they not only comped my meal but all 5 of our meals. Truly a kind gesture. I'd definitely go back.

Beautiful restaurant to visit very good meal. The service is beyond expectation, if you are a pick up person or a delivery driver. Most of the servers usually serve where there is tips, but others side will be totally ignored.

Montana's is a midrange restaurant in my opinion, not to crazy about it, but it's also not the worst I've had. The service was really slow, the waitress were very nice, super friendly, but it seemed to take forever to get our drinks, to the point where we'd just order 2 and when 1 got empty we'd order our next round. The food was good, but I wouldn't exactly recommend this restaurant, try Moxie's Bar and Grill, it close by.

Have been to Montana's Medicine Hat a few times last couple months and have had no problems at all. My friend has had the Sirloin Steak last 2 times which she said was grilled to perfection. I had the Brisket last time and the Ribs time before and both were excellent. Not sure why the bad reviews but we have nver had a bad meal here. I can say i've had to send my fries back once because they were not hot but thats expected from time to time as i like my fries HOT. Prices are not that bad and we plan on returning soon.

Food was good, service was just ok, the appearance of the patio disgusted me. Pots of dead plants in the corner, bags of potting soil just thrown on the floor, dirty broom and dust pan visible, dirty napkins under the tables. Appearance and cleanliness goes a long way. Do better Montana’s, no excuse for that!!
