Yellow Cab

Never use their service, after waiting for almost 2 hours, the driver was r@cist towards me and I almost got hit! He kept telling all through the trip. Nothing is good about their service, poor organization, zero customer service, inconsistent drivers and lack of professionalism. If you don’t value your time and money , go ahead to book them at your own peril. I need to give zero star if possible. R@CIST!!

I’m Not surprised they have 2.5 stars after my experience on New Year’s Eve. We always liked to support yellow cab this time we got into there cab and my wife left her bag on the back seat, as soon as we got out and the driver took off she realized what happened and she panicked so did I since we had all our cards and residential and business keys and credentials. I called the dispatch for assistance to reach out to there driver through the system only to hear him go on about how he can if he wants to but he won’t because it’s not important enough and lots of ppl do it.That’s when I told him no wonder why no one supports your company anymore including me and my wife. Good luck loosing what’s left of your 2.5 star service.!I am speaking with corporate to identify the dispatcher and display his name.

Don't even answer the phone. Called 5 times on different phones and no answer, you'd think they'd have the courtesy to at least answer and say no available cabs. The rare time they get the phone, it takes ten minutes for a driver to show up and they even charge you just for using the trunk

We went to Peggy's Cove about an hour out from Halifax and needed a return taxi. We called the company because we saw cabs form them at the cove earlier, so we knew they serviced the area. We called and were promised a cab would arrive in about an hour. After 1.5 hours we tried to call again and no one answered the phone. We were stranded at Peggy's Cove and after 2 hours we finally saw a cab drive through and it turned out it was already used by someone else. Luckily, the lady renting the cab let us ride with her and we could get back to Halifax. She paid her fare - so the regular fare was covered - but we then had to pay the full price as well. They totally ripped us off. Furthermore, the drive was very bumpy and I almost had to throw up, this was not due to the streets since the drive there was smooth. Finally, neither the web page nor the app works.

SO AWFUL!! Asked if they could send a taxi that accompanies pets, they said yes no problem. When they arrived they called me 5 times even though I told them I was on the way down. We I get downstairs the guy tells me he can’t take pets, so I call back, the girl was extremely rude and says that they are short staffed even though when I had spoken to her previously she said they were sending a cab that was dog friendly THEN HUNG UP ON ME. Absolutely ridiculous service. Never order from them ever.

Cab driver blocked my driveway on the street and refused to move and when I asked him to move or I'd report him to yellow cab he started screaming and cursing at me while shouting racial slurs. Cab number was 318 and the vehicle was a silver dodge ram minivan. Terrible service and drivers, to anyone who reads this review, don't use yellow cab, not worth it

Just waited an hour, no eta, still no cab on the way so I cancelled. I called at 3pm.. hardly rush hour. I would recommend calling casino taxi. They have many more cars, are much faster and send you a text message that links you to a map with your drivers location and eta.It’s not the fault of the friendly and apologetic dispatcher or the drivers it’s just a smaller company. On the peninsula is a different story, as far as I know most of their cabs are based there.

If I could give a zero star review, I would. Absolutely appalling customer service; more like customer disservice.Coming off of a late shift at work, I had a taxi chit that was only valid with their service. I attempted to both install and access their app (which continued to crash consistently, forcing me to uninstall it), as well as call their service line. After 25 attempts, an operator rudely responded to me by interrupting me and flippantly informing me that they had no cabs available. You are a cab service, and you have no cabs to service with. How are you allowed to continue to operate as a business?Without going into personal details about my life circumstances, I had very little options available to me otherwise, none of which were ideal/suitable/feasible. Thankfully one of those other options was how I ultimately got home, but the fact that I had to resort to such efforts when their service should simply have been available is absurd.

Horribly rude drivers took two and a half hours to show up when called to Lawton's. Then when I complained he told me beggars can't be choosers because I had a taxi chip. When I told him I was going to talk to his supervisor he offered me a job. Completely unprofessional absolute disgrace of a cab company and that's saying something

I would give 0 stars if I could! Waited for 30 minutes for our cab to arrive, was told it would be another 20 minutes because all of their drivers had just signed off". Ended up calling Uber and our Uber driver arrived in 5 minutes. Don't waste your time with this company!"
