A great new bike shop in Nanaimo! Grant was totally willing to service my recumbent trike – not every shop I have run into over the past dozen years since I purchased the trike is willing to work on them. When I brought the wheel in for a spoke replacement and wheel truing, he accommodated my request for picking the wheel up later that afternoon. On my first ride yesterday, the wheel ran perfectly true – great job.Decent prices, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and prompt responses to questions via email. Highly recommended!

Since I took my bike in to the FOR Family of Riders Bike Shop this spring and got my bike tuned up and switched out the clips for MTB pedals (I am much happier with a simple flat pedal these days), I have been riding my bike in to work each day as much as possible. Yesterday when I was nearly home I had a flat. I have never, even in the thousands of miles I have ridden a bike, had to fix a flat. Amazing, I know. Anyway, I grabbed my sister for a ride-a-long and we went back up to FOR to get it fixed. Grant was so wonderful, gave me a very dear and patient tutorial on how to fix your own tire (you crazy lady)" and sent us happily on our way again. I cannot thank this dear family enough for being such a source of support for riders and for being so kind and patient with the old folks too. Check them out! They are the absolute best!"
