We decided to purchase our home in the Orchards community with Daytona Homes. Eva and Spencer were a delight to deal with. They explained the pre-sale process and what to expect throughout the construction of our home. This was particularly helpful as this was our first home. When we had concerns during construction and notified Eva and Spencer, they were addressed in a timely manner. Overall, I would recommend speaking with them if you are thinking of going with Daytona Homes.Post-possession wise, you must stay on top of any deficiencies to get them to resolve it. Certain items that were identified weeks prior to possession and thereafter are still pending.

Our Home purchase journey wouldn't have come to through if it wasn't the assistance from Kelly Jansen with Daytona Homes. With her years of experience, she was very understanding and patient with us when we hit snags along the way to acquire the mortgage. The assistance she provided was beyond our understanding being first time home buyers. She explained the whole process and procedures, did follow-up for us days and nights with constant phone calls and text messages. The House we picked is amazing and very beautiful from structural to appliances. Great painting, interior design looks perfect as we expected. Hardwood floor looks perfect with no defects. I will whole heartedly recommend friends, family and even strangers to seek the services of Daytona Homes when looking for a great house to call home.. I am forever grateful for their services.

I'm not a person who puts negative reviews anywhere but my situation forced me to do so. I have purchased my first home with a lot of expectations and dreams a year ago from Daytona and now I realized that it was an accident in my life. Unfortunately my procession was in February and and almost all the home inspections were done in winter. Since it was a ready to move home and also the trust we had on the builder we blindly followed what they said. We didn't get much time to get in the house before procession and do details checking. After we entered the house the issues started showing up one after the other. The main issue is that there is a huge void underneath of our whole driveway and it is about 9 inches in depth. We are really upset and worried that it will break anytime and the access to the house will be blocked and bigger damage will happen!!We reached out to the builder, and we understand that dimpling is a common issue in Alberta. When we told them about the issue on the first anniversary visit the inspector told us that it is out of warranty and the house owner is now responsible to fix it.We showed it to many contractors to get a quote and fix and all of them told us they never seen such a big issue and it should have been figured out earlier by the builder, it is formed only due to poor rough-grading and they should be fixing it. It is a lake side community the builder could have made sure it was done properly. Another issue that the landscaping advance money is still not refunded and it was done almost a year ago.Be very careful when dealing with this builder and I don't recommend them at all.Their customer care team is very irresponsible and don't value their customers who helped them grow. They will give you fake promises, be careful!!

We purchased a triplex from Daytona Homes in Edmonton. It was great pleasure to work with the knowledgeable and respectful Sales Manager Tania Nash. The whole team is very friendly and customer service oriented. The floor plans, designs of the multi family building are practical, functional, modern and up to the high profile tenants' expectations. It is a turn key investment for us, a truly great long-term hold. We plan to work with Daytona in near future on expanding our real estate portfolio.

Well, I am not surprised reading comments. Should have read them before buying our first home from DAYTONA. Since we have moved in, we are only taking care of deficiencies that shouldn’t be there in first place as its brand new house. Following up TACADA, their customer care team is another pain. When asked who would be responsible for the repairs after warranty is over they recommended we buy extended warranty but for WHAT?? The deficiencies that shouldn’t be there in first place?? LOL !! Our house is 5 months old and our cabinets are coming off, main doors were installed incorrectly and we have snow breeze all over our main floor!! When it rains our basement gets flooded and its not considered an emergency they mentioned in their emails.Cheap material/labour and to my shock their own LABOUR has mentioned this to us.NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!!

Overall, our experience with Daytona has been a mix of good and bad.The goodThe quality of the house build was impressive, with no major issues and only minor cosmetic defects. Daytona promptly addressed the more serious problems found during the initial independent inspection, such as a leaky furnace and water pipe leak. We were satisfied with the overall build quality. The warranty department, Tacada, handled our concerns effectively and addressed various issues, including no hot water, electrical circuit malfunctions, water valve relocation, and garage seal. They were responsive and timely in resolving these matters. We had the opportunity to work with several Daytona employees, most of whom were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Jeremy Fisher, who conducted the initial walkthrough, was particularly helpful and patient. Ken Morley, whom we met during our one-month and trades day visits, was also professional and accommodating. In addition, Tania Nash provided valuable assistance when we encountered difficulties with other salespeople. These individuals stood out for their competence and dedication. The badAs expected, there were cosmetic issues with the new build, including paint touch-ups and nail pops. Although most touch-ups were addressed during the possession date, some required additional follow-up visits. One major problem was with the door knobs. Adrian, the individual handling the touch-ups, struggled to find the correct paint match. His attempts resulted in a sticky, bumpy, and unsightly appearance, making the door knobs unpleasant to touch. Moreover, there were instances of paint on the carpet, indicating a lack of care during wall paint touch-ups. Adrian was a very nice and friendly person, but unfortunately, he was unreliable and failed to follow through on multiple occasions, leaving us waiting for the door knobs to be replaced.Another negative aspect was that major appliances were not included with the house. Of all the houses we viewed, this was the only one which did not include appliances. We chose the house despite this omission because we liked the layout, but it was disheartening to later learn that another Daytona house for sale with the same layout did include appliances. This inconsistency in offering appliances was disappointing. The uglyOur experience with salespeople Wendé Black and Samuel Black was particularly frustrating and disappointing. We had no contact with Daytona employees until the final stages of purchasing the house since we used a realtor. Wendé reached out to us to sign a Welcome Package, which contained incorrect information and dates. We expressed our discomfort signing the paperwork with incorrect details, leading to numerous back-and-forth exchanges and multiple versions of the package. This caused confusion and raised concerns about the completeness of the documentation. Even our realtor faced difficulties in getting responses from Wendé and Samuel. When we called the office, Samuel displayed rudeness, impatience, and unprofessionalism, claiming that the dates on the paperwork didn't matter despite rushing us to sign it ASAP. Furthermore, a scheduled meeting for window and appliance measurements was mishandled by Samuel, who failed to meet us at the house as promised. This lack of communication, organization, and attention to detail greatly eroded our trust in Wendé and Samuel and tainted our initial impression of Daytona and leaves room for improvement in Daytona's customer experience and sales processes.Fortunately, when Tania Nash became involved, the issues were eventually resolved. We speculated that the difficulties might have been due to us purchasing the house through a realtor rather than directly from Daytona.
