Great people love the service

Bernard of blue marine is the man! This guy really knows his stuff. We hit a log up by horseshoe bay (damage to strut and rudder) and had to be towed in. He was recommeded by a family friend. He got us out of the water right away at the Granville boatyard. and back in almost as fast our boat is a 1992 36 ft sailing yacht so not easy to find parts for, but he managed to find the part we needed in Florida. There was a bit of lag time getting the part in but not with their workmanship. As soon as it came in we were put together and back in the water in no time. They even gave us an extremely good deal on repainting the hull while we were out of the water.I Highly recommend blue marine.

Bernard has been my go to guy for years. He is the best in the business; knowledgeable, capable, prompt, and fair. I highly recommend him.

Absolutely terrible service - left me dead in the water with no one to call.I initially had my boat serviced by Bernard at BMS a couple of years ago, at which time I called, made an appointment and had my boat hauled out by Granville Island Boatyard. At this time he provided adequate service and advice - I was also there to monitor progress, as I was painting the bottom at the same time.Unfortunately, I then made the mistake of recommending Bernard to a friend - long story short, though the parts they required had a very long lead time, BMS then took an additional couple of months after receipt of the parts to actually install them, during which time the boat was unusable.I made an appointment recently, 6 weeks before I had to use the boat for various events, the dates for which were non-flexible, and communicated this to Bernard.My first appointment date that Bernard agreed to passed, and I messaged and called him once a day for the next week and a half, with no response. At this point he answered the phone as though nothing had happened, and rescheduled for the following week.I called him the morning of, and he did not show up, nor could I get a hold of him, messaging and calling once a day for the following several weeks.At this point I had to take the boat up the coast and an oil cooler line failed - I don't really need to go on from here.Bottom line - STAY AWAY FROM BLUE MARINE SERVICES.

Bernard is amazing! One of the best “mechanics” around. He pulled me out; rubbed my shaft smooth, and packed my stuffing box so tight, I Was speechless! :) You won’t leave disappointed this Frenchman knows his stuff. The boys here sure do know how to treat you right! Highly recommend the “services” at blue marine Ltd.

Very consistent work. Quotes accurately, so no surprises when it is time to pay the invoice. Very pleased.
