Coal Harbour Mechanical Plumbing and Heating

Coal Harbour were recommended to us by Trail Appliances. They installed our new kitchen major appliances, having to visit our home on three occasions due to delivery schedules. They were excellent at communicating and arrived right on time each time. Work was very meticulous and post install clean-up was also meticulous. They also make sure you are fully satisfied with their work before they leave, or ask you to pay anything. We had four different techs in total, all exhibiting the same high degree of professionalism.

We purchased a new gas stove and had Justin do the installation.He was knowledgeable and did everything by the book which I appreciated.We had another company come in last week and they were not able to install the gas stove. Claimed it was missing a part. We had a new stove delivered yesterday and it was missing the same part. We decided to have Coal Harbour try to install the stove. Justin had no issues installing the gas stove and the missing part was not an issue. Plus he made sure to place a permit on the stove and installed the anti- tip bracket.There was no issue with our original stove just the installer.I would highly recommend Coal Harbour and Justin.Thank you!!

We had a OTR microwave installed. The service was great, the technician arrived on time after calling. All work was completed and the unit works well. He also kept the home clean using mats and protected the other appliance. I have no hesitation using and/o recommending CHM in the future.

DISGUSTING EXPERIENCEThis shop has been default installer for Coast Appliances and I honestly don't know why..I purchased a dishwasher and at the day it was scheduled for install, I received a call from the technician that he wouldn't be able to do it since there would be a water shutdown on the unit and suggested re-scheduling which I acked. No mention of a cancellation fee whatsoever.2 hours later I saw a charge of 212$ on my card for 'late cancellation' which annoyed me because again it was technician's suggestion and there wasn't any mention of a fee (I actually called the technician and he was also surprised for that charge).Anyhow I called the main office and after a bit of drama they seemed to agree and said they'd refund back (still waiting to show in my credit card).. I thought :OK, a decent company who fixes their mistake, right? Well not quite.My tenant and I made a total of 6 calls in the upcoming 2 days to schedule for delivery of the appliance that they desperately needed and have been waiting for a while. When the office _finally_ returned after 2 days, they said they cannot proceed without cancellation fee being paid out.So all this time, they have been so called 'punishing us' for the 'late cancellation' which again was not the case.To me this is complete lack of business ethics and making fun with the consumer, not respecting their time and willingness to do business. I have many rental properties and could have used a decent plumber but I'll definitely pass on this greedy, snobby shop.

Excellent immediate service. Set up, clean up, and friendly all thru the process of installation. They were professional, on time, responsive with great quality, and great value.Doesn't get any finer.

Coal Harbour installed a new dishwasher for me in Nanaimo. The service technician was on time, polite and professional. They took the time to go over everything with me to make sure I was happy with the installation and showed me how to operate the new dishwasher. They also noticed a small leak under the sink and were able to fix it for a reasonable price. They also made sure to clean up and didn't leave any mess from the installation. Would recommend and would happily use their services again.

Attended when they said, completed the job under very hot conditions, installed water hammer device to code. Professional and courteous, will use them again if required. (Alex was the dishwasher installer.)

Wade was very professional and efficient. He was on time and walked us through the installation of our dishwasher. He was neat and cleaned up everything and took it all away. I would recommend this business.

We had our new ASKO dishwasher delivered and installed by Justin from Coal Harbour Mechanical. He was very professional and courteous. He answered all of our questions in regards to the dishwasher and explained in details in the functionality of it. The installation was quick with care. We asked about certain products and was very knowledgeable. We were so impressed that we will use Coal Harbour Mechanical in the future
