Wilderness Vans

We wanted a camper-van but absolutely no idea of the cost and nowhere to start, then I started emailing Wilderness Vans. Ryan is very accommodating for all what we think we need for our van, very helpful in all inquiries I made through out the process of building it. The customer service is top notch, from the office staff to the shop, they are all friendly and you will feel very welcome. Trevor and Trevor (yes, there’s 2 Trevor) explained everything thoroughly what we should need to know about our van, they are very candid and can easily ask and discuss things with them about the build.When we picked up our van, it was way more than what we expected. The craftsmanship and attention to the detail is great. We are so happy and excited for our van. Overall experience from the staff to the crafts that they are creating or building is outstanding. I highly recommend them.

Wilderness Vans installed a 3.5 inch lift kit in my van and did a superb job. They are fast, professional and courteous. I had a minor issue with my parking brake on my drive back to Calgary and Ryan and Eric hopped into their truck, drove to Calgary immediately and made a corrective adjustment. Amazing service!

Ryan was great! Took his time with us, showed us the build process, the parts of the building where the magic happens. And mostly he showed us several vans in different stages so we could get a feel for the build process, the layout options, and a feel for the quality of finish.Was time well spent and much appreciated.

We rented one for a weekend mountain bike trip out to BC. This is a camping trip we never will forget. We were blown away by the amazing craftsmanship and the quality of install and build. The floor plan was roomy and had storage space for days, we fit both bikes and all our gear with ease. You better believe you will see me pulling up next to you in the campground, mountain top, or any beach or river. We are able to go camping summer and winter without concern.

We recently brought in our camper van into Wilderness Vans because we were having issues with the solar panel. It turns out that we had a switch in the OFF position which was rather embarrassing. The staff at Wilderness Vans spent about two hours adding improvements to our van and fixed a few minor things that were broken. They refused payment. Throughout our relationship with Wilderness Vans we have been very impressed by their ingenuity, work ethic and caring attitudes.

I purchased a 3.5 lift-kit for my Promaster van through Ryan at Wilderness Vans and I couldn’t be happier with the product. It was delivered it out to the west coast within 2 days of placing the order. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Ryan even had his techs available to chat with my local shop if they encountered any difficulties. The install was done flawlessly, with all components fitting perfectly. I love the upgrade and give these guys five stars!

These professionals did an amazing van build for us and we couldn't be happier. From the initial show and tell of their build process through to actually doing our build its been fabulous communication, and even the 'after pick up' assistance has been great. Highly recommend for quality and service.

I am about to start the build on my Promaster and needed a lift kit installed. A friend of mine had one installed last year at Wilderness Vans, has had no issues and highly recommended them. I contacted Off Highway Van (the manufacturer of the lift kit) in Utah and they also recommended Wilderness Vans.I contacted Ryan and he was professional, prompt, friendly and very informative in our communication.Since I was from out of town, Ryan and his team (Eric and Phoenix) started early and got the install done in one day. The work was completed as expected and on budget - no surprises!While waiting for my van, Ryan provided a tour of their facility. The first thing I noticed is that the whole operation and scale was much larger than I had thought. I was amazed at the level of quality and professionalism at Wilderness Vans - Garry's computer modelling, CNC cutting, laminating machine and top quality materials and equipment.I saw some of the vans being built and met some of the builders and carpenters. Their attention to detail was very evident. They have professional craftspeople doing some amazing top-tier work.Overall, Ryan and his staff have a great attitude and everything was done exactly as expected. I also picked up some new, larger tires and wheels from Ryan as well as some windows, a fan and some cabinet hardware.I also ordered some other windows and Cherylin was professional and informative in the follow-up communication and shipping of these items.The lift kit has been flawless after 2,500 km's and I do not hesitate to recommend Wilderness Vans.Update: Jan 2023 (2.5 years after lift kit installed) same van - a little dirtier!I have had absolutely zero issues with the lift kit installed by Ryan and his team and the other items from Wilderness Vans. After many adventures in all seasons and all weather everything is working flawlessly.
