La Dolce Vita
Best vegan ice cream ever. I am not sure why they don't advertise it as fully vegan though. They always have long line ups so be prepared to wait atleast half an hour on a hot summer day, but its always worth the wait. My personal favorite flavors are anything pistachio, hazelnut flavored. You also get to sample up to 2 flavors before picking your scoops.

The blood orange is great. Technically, most of the flavors are not true Gelato. The girls serving were nice. No cash accepted is a downfall. We paid $18.00 for a small cup and large cup. Nice spot for a date or after dinner treat. Pretty busy place but line moved well.

This is hands down the best gelato I've ever had!I'm italian and I've been vegan for several years now, i really missed a good creamy gelato in my life, and La Dolce Vita delivers the best quality in flavor and texture I've ever experienced.Oh don't forget to collect points if you're a recurring customer like me!

I love this place, the fact that its all plant based makes me and my stomach very happy, and you can’t even tell! I’ve brought many of my friends and family here and everyone loves it. I have yet to try a flavour I don’t like.

I am not too ecstatic about this gelato place. If you’re looking for a cold summer treat, great. If you’re looking for authentic gelato, in my opinion, this is not it. Could have something to do with their plant-based approach? Plus, it’s too sweet and artificial in taste and appearance.I mean, I guess it was voted as best ice cream place in Oakville, and not best gelato place. Nonetheless, not too impressed.

Best vegan gelato I’ve ever had. Have never been a fan of vegan desserts, this place is the only exception. This gelato is identical to gelato made with dairy. Flavours are tasty, my favourites are caramel biscotti, birthday cake, blood orange, salted caramel & coffee. Service is always great and employees are attentive & nice.

What can I say different about a place that has hundreds of reviews and the average rating is close to 5 stars? First why is there not a higher rating available? I would have easily given them more.First they are not loud that are a vegan place. I think majority of the customers dot even realize that it is. The gelatos are good that you just can’t tell if they are vegan. Between the five of us we had 10 different flavours and almost all of them were mind blowingly good.Amongst our orders we had two affogatos and it was just not the gelatos but even the espresso was amazing.Amongst the flavours we loved were Canadian Maple Whisky (WG-99s), Coffee, Biscotti, Niagara Glazed Pear, Nutella, Pistachio, Chocolate.For our treat next day we also picked up desserts for the next few days. Butter Pecan, Maple Butter, and Lemon Meringue tarts. All the fillings are top notch but the crusts were okay.The Lotus Biscoff, Nutella, and the Hello Dolly Bars were top notch. It would be hard to select which amongst the three I liked the best. Each had us craving for more as we had just one of each and had to have a small piece to taste.

Amazing well manufactured gelatos with natural fruit. Incredible creamy 100% arábiga espresso hard to find anywhere except Italy. I had one pineapple cup and one raspberry cup. Both are about the best I’ve had. The place is a bit crowded / narrow, varieties are enough.. Displays are clean and fridge is impecable. Service is amicable ( I will excuse the cashier as guess she was on training). Lots of parking space. Don’t miss this place ! Sidewalk seating is really nice.

Gelato is very good and so was the service. Long line but they kept it moving. Happy to recommend it if you are in the area but both my wife and I agree that it still does not dethrone our #1 gelato spot.

First of all horrible service. We ordered some ice cream to have in the store and some to take home and they refused to keep the one for the in the freezer until we finished our in-store order. Second they do not accept cash which is very unconvenient. Last and the most important is that the ice cream is pretty bad its just frozen sugar I don't understand why people line up for this place. Never again. Save your money and go to another place. They should bot call it Gelato cause it's not even close they should call it frozen sugar.
