Missy Holt is professional and patient and really kind. Our dog (about 65 pounds) doesn’t make things easy for missy. Let’s say she can be stubborn. Missy remains calm but firm and gets the job done. Missy is always good at asking us what we want from the groom (summer shave; just a trim; more off the feet) and she does an excellent job. We very much like and recommend Missy as a wonderful person and skilled groomer.

I highly recommend Urban Dog. I can't say enough about Missy's caring and intuitive approach to grooming. Having a rescue dog can be challenging and my girl came with her own issues but have all the confidence in the world that my girl Roxy's mental health and physical well-being is always top priority while in Missy's capable hands. I wouldn't trust any other groomer!

Missy is amazing!!! I have a small dog that is very agressive towards people she doesn't know and does not let anyone touch her. Most groomers won't even attempt to cut her nails. I have tried multiple vets and they always need to sedate her and they charge three times as much with not nearly the quality Missy provides. She took the time to comfort my girl and didn't give up (without sedation!). She did an incredible job of her nails, they look amazing! I would highly recommend her to anyone with a challenging pet.

Super happy with this service. Was accommodated quite quickly and my wiggly 5lbs of fierceness behaved quite calmly for Missy as she had this very calming approach. Definitely recommend!

Missy has transformed my anxiety prone rescue dog both physically and emotionally. She understands the need for patience and kindness while keeping the shenanigans under control. She has eliminated the need for anti anxiety meds prior to grooming and I no longer worry about if/when my dog will become aggressive. I only wish I had found her sooner.

Missy was excellent with my 16 y/o chihuahua x. He had a terrible experience at the last groomer and was severely traumatized. So i brought Missy into my home to take care of him. While Manny experienced some anxiety he was put to ease by Missy and she professionally took care of his emotional needs and his grooming. He looks so handsome! Thank you Missy! Missy has been our dog Lucy’s groomer for about 3 years now. Lucy loves her! She use to get scared and anxious going to the groomers, as they kept them in cages while waiting to get done. Having missy come to our home was a game changer. Missy is so amazing with her and she looks and feels great afterwards. Missy is very professional and always on time and accommodating. My first requirement dogs must approve... They did with giant wags.... Missy is always greeted with happy excitement. She is patient understanding yet firm and no nonsense. She is great with rescue mutts. My pack is changing... the youngest is soon to be the leading influence on a new puppy rescue. This new pup will learn what it means to be a pawdicure all-star. Missy has a Zen quality and the dogs know she loves them.. so they happily greet her and trust her with their precious paws... resulting in happy feet. Missy's house call service is so valuable and very flexible. Home comfort is especially beneficial with multiple dogs and rescue histories. So absolutely pleased she provides this care. Added bonus, she can even do the cat... a fabulous feat.
