Do not buy anything from Powerhouse, you will regret it. If your purchase runs into any issue of any sort they will do absolutely NOTHING to help you. Their customer service is virtually non existent. I bought a brand new boat motor from them that leaked oil the first time I had it on the water. What did they do about it? Nothing. I had to get it fixed on my own (at different Yamaha dealer closer to my house) and months later still waiting on refund for the warranty. I should have known to be cautious after they gave me the wrong gas can, no kill switch cord, and mounted the motor completely off center on my boat. Pisshouse is a terrible marine shop, avoid at all cost.

What you can expect when you purchase a brand new boat from their showroom floor1 - Your boat will be ready when they get around to it.2 - The motor won't be installed correctly. Expect them to chip off paint when they put it back on.3 - The prop won't be the recommended one for the boat.4 - Don't pay them the $75 to title your boat as they will forget to do it and will lie to you about sending in the title to the state. Its a 2 minute online application for half the cost.5 - If you have questions / concerns don't bother to ask Bill as you are wasting your time. By far the worst service in La Crosse hands down.

Fantastic customer service the several times I have been in their shop. Zach has always gone above and beyond. I was looking for a different pitch prop for my Merc 115. He borrowed me a higher pitch prop to try out for the weekend to make sure it was what I needed. Great person and operation.

I don't like how long it took them to get back to me and how short they were when they finally did respond. Didn't answer my questions at all just simply said we don't rent boats .. okay but that's not all I asked you...

Save your money and go someplace else.I went to buy their Lowe FM 1775 SC and working with the sales person we pretty much had it written up.We had a agreement that I would come in with the down payment and that day (a friday) my salesman was off work so I talked to another salesman and he agreed that I would come in on Monday and pay the down payment,Call that morning said I would be there right after lunch and he said great we will see you then,Called after lunch and told him I am on my way and he would meet me at the door,I get there at 1pm and met him at the door and he greats me and says sorry your boat is sold??They all knew I was coming with a down payment and if they absolutely needed full payment I easily could have but was waiting for a week for personal reasons but I had the money on hand if a full payment was needed,The pulled the boat out from under me and would not deal on another boat at all as i was willing to go to a different boat.I would not go back even if Lowe sent them another boat and I would not even go back to buy a fuel filter! After many calls to dealers I found another FM 1775 SC and they are willing to undercut Powerhouse after they wrote up and sold the boat i was hoping to buy,.Under handed sales and not a care about customer service,I have to travel a long way and make a weekend trip but I am still getting the boat I thought I was buying,I did like my sales person and hope he gets a job at another dealership because he is far to good of a salesman to be working for such a under handed company.

A little pricey. But if you need something done to your boat or a repair, they're a good place to go.

We hit a log on the river at the end of June and sustained significant damage to the outdrive and tilt and trim. The water pump was also not working correctly. We decided to have the boat fixed at a nearby marina in Lacrosse. Powerhouse Marine seemed to have fairly good reviews. Our insurance agreed to cover the price of a rebuilt outdrive and tilt/trim. We knew boat parts had been hard to find this summer and expected this to take at least a few weeks after they ok'd us to drop it off. The mechanic told us he would call when the boat was ready. After 1 month, we called Joe and were told they wouldn't order the part until we paid for it upfront even though our insurance told them full repairs would be covered. None of this information was relayed to us. No apologies or acknowledgement of poor communication....blamed our insurance company The marina required payment for full cost (>$11000!) of the repair before the work was even started. After 7 weeks, we finally got our boat back and it didn't work..... dead in the water with a boat full of friends. Water pump repair was not done correctly and the entire part had to be replaced. They also forgot" to replace the tilt/trim. Joe told the part had arrived the Thursday prior to Labor Day and they were working on it and should be ready end of the day that Friday. We took off work early and headed towards Lacrosse (2+ hour trip) for pick up. He knew we were on our way. The place was locked up when we arrived at 4:45 p.m. (closing time 5 p.m.) and no answer to our phone calls. We decided to wait and see how long it would take them to call and explain what happened. After 1 week

As a newbie into the world of boating, being asked “do you even know what you’re talking about?” when interested in purchasing a used motor tells me they were uninterested in helping me find what I was looking for. Save yourself hassle, and talk to someone from Holmen Marine. Genuine people willing to help you understand what you need and explain it in a way that they Don’t make you feel stupid.
