Access Credit Union

I was just at Oakbank CU and I used the ATM. Then when I wanted to go into the main building the doors were locked. The website said it was open till 4 so I expected it to BE open. I realize it's a long weekend, but still, what a way to gaslight your members!

Tried contacting the Access Credit Union in Oakbank - on a regular Saturday, and it was closed. Instead was forwarded to Giselle" at the Selkirk Access Credit Union. She was sarcastic

MANY errors made by staff since switching from OakBank Credit Union and using the OakBank branch. Most of the errors were a result of staff not doing their job properly and not checking their work - problems with debit card and transfer of $ from one account to another. Using the ATM has also been frustrating. I expected some change pains as a result of the merger, but in that area there was none. Automatic payments and deposits were no problem. Staff are friendly enough and apologized about the errors, but apologies get old. Only staying with Sunova because of the convenience. Hopefully the staff will get their act together.

Im a cibc client and came here for some financial assistance/help. 1 star explains my interaction, rude go away kinda attitude!! my first and last time stepping into this business. Cibc isnt great, but this location/chain should be ashamed of themselves.

Worst bank ever, nothing but problems since they took over Oakbank CU. I'll save you the trouble, never go with this bank! You tell them you have a problem and they do nothing to try and correct it, they rather loose your business

Kelly was our light at a very dark tunnel with a mortgage broker. Kelly came through big time. We are so very grateful!! If you ever need mortage go and you are member at that oakbank- go and speak to Kelly Hicks!!

I love this Bank they have great staff and always helpful but it would be nice if they were open on Sundays

Just horrible. The amount of problems I have had and CONTINUE to have is just unacceptable. Like honestly, if your considering this bank… DONT.

Have had nothing but issues and problems since coming over as an Oakbank Credit Union member - too many to list. Awful awful credit union.

Booked an appointment to see an advisor as I needed cash urgently, he said things will be ready before I even go in the next day. He said he won't be there but booked me in with someone else, I confirmed 3-4 times on the phone and today and there is no appointment booked, I AM NOT SURPRISED AT ALL. The previous day I spent more than half hour going through what needs to be done and was told everything is set up. Poor customer service, not the first time this occured and this occured to another friend of mine who closed his business account, today I closed mine, this credit union is a failure, I am gladly taking my business elsewhere. Hopefully one day the people working there will have proper communication at the branch so they at least know what is happening. Very very poor way of running a credit union.
