1hr and a few email's now I will never see my songood job Canadaty for never giving me a chance

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions but I am so thankful to Natalie King whom was our worker. She was so supportive and sincerely helpful. She had everyone's best interest at heart the whole time. Most people are defensive and not willing to see their own faults....nobody is perfect. If we let our guard down and accept the help then you will see they are here to help and make everything run smoothly and safely. I'm thankful

Had a liaison worker here but my “file itself” was across the province. Most workers from here where helpful in comparison to the other CAS I was with. They just need to really fight more for their clients best interests (including file transfers) to ensure they are able to give the best care possible. Ottawa is one of the Richest CAS’s and I could have had a RGI apartment when i “aged out” if I was officially with Ottawa CAS.Thanks though for all your help until i aged out.

I was a foster kid for 11 years and they were great to me. I dealt with 4 different agencies before coming to Ottawa and they were the best by far. Even after I turned 18, they still looked after me and gave me an allowance to be able to pay bills while I was in college until I turned 21,and now I still have insurance with them until I'm 25 for me and my daughter. Definitely one of the best agencies in the province.

Well great building and great reception area. I don't understand how this type of organization is allowed to operate. The vast majority of child protection policy that CAS has in place are made by them and help them only. The agency has no oversight and no watchdog group telling them. I hope this changes. The CAS has to change, instead of lining their pockets with money.

If it were possible to give C.A.S Ottawa zero stars, I would. In the 90s, I was a teenage girl living in an abusive home with a horrible, evil, unstable, narcissistic mother. My sisters and I lived in absolute filth. Our father was mostly absent. My sister was later placed in foster care with terrible foster parents. I gave the social worker evidence of our mother abusing us, but she was useless. We dealt with Céline Paquette and Janine Laher, both of whom have long since retired. I sincerely hope that your services have improved, for it was sheer hell dealing with you. My sister had numerous problems, your agency did nothing to help us. Please thoroughly investigate all claims of abuse. No child should have to endure such pain. I hope your social workers are now aware that narcissistic mothers exist.

Terrible, unbelievable they do not keep your children safe at all. We had Brenda willbroud. Children aid is the biggest joke in the world, one person will tell you something but another will not agree. I called to keep my child safe, but more safe without them , I will never call again . My daughter is being abused and so much mental anguish but they are not helping at all . What is the use of children aid if they can't legally do anything very unprofessional and tried to turn things on me, didn't workTwo lawyers telling me to sue them . Never ever trust these people, they do as they please not by the book. Very very upset they don't have the power to do anything

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. Darlene Ralf is extremely unprofessional and clearly has her own set of biases. As I was unsure of what to expect when dealing with them, I recorded the conversation. She was rude, made assumptions of me and did not do any research before accusing me of wrong doing. Clearly a man hater, solely focused on destroying lives, not helping children.No governing body to control them, so there representatives abuse their power. SHUT IT DOWN.

They don't protect children. They just take them away for reasons that are unexplained. For instance both Mother and Father of the child are taking care of them, then some 3rd party person can call CAS and say that there is a dispute, CAS comes and takes your child, while both parents tell them that everything is great. Terrible institution that should have never existed, or at least not have any power over what Police thinks is the case.

Well CA$ of Ottawa getting short of money now there working with Ottawa useless police in taking children from the parents just so they keep a file open to get founded by Ontario government. Children aid societies need to be shut down let band together to shutdown children aid societies. There they do is lie lie stand up to children aid societies let’s stop them
