Groundworks Construction Supply Surrey

Website says they close at 4pm on Saturday. Showed up at 3:25pm and the man working there said they were closed and he had closed the till. I drove 20 minutes to pick up a load of soil and was there well before their posted closing time. What a waste of my time and gas. Very disappointed. Will not be going back there.

For the last 4 years I've been going to Groundworks for my yard. Great delivery service❗Had 4-6 yards of river rock over the years. Mostly as a bed for where my pool goes.Now that I've got a trailer my gardens are expanding with growth from their rich garden soil.

Organized, friendly and priced accordingly. Very knowledgeable of the materials they provide. Plenty of room inside the yard.

I had a great first experience with one if there employees, but that was where it ended. They are rude, cheap, and will charge you for any extra fee that can get an extra buck. The quick buck means more than regular business partners for them, I suppose.

Great products and great staff with great advice on how to landscape yourself. They talked me into planting my own lawn using their seed instead of buying turf from a farm. I took their advice and purchased their turf mix and seed and the results were amazing! Way easier than I thought it would be. I've never done this before and it turned out great. See for yourself.

I've been to their Vancouver yard a few times when I have jobs in the neighborhood, their product is great and the service is awesome. The prices are perfectly reasonable for such a small yard.Recently I've been getting road salt from their Surrey location. Initially their prices were far lower than anywhere else and the yard I purchased was generously scooped.When I ran out of salt and nowhere else in the city was selling any, Evelyn hooked me up with much needed road salt even when I could only show up an hour after closing during the holidays when most businesses are closed, because she knew I'm trying to run a business and I was in a bind. At that point I didn't mind paying higher prices, and the service was still excellent. Thanks guys for being there, I was able to make my money back and impress my clients all because of Groundworks.

This place is HUGE. They carried almost all the material for yard/garden work.The 1 Water Bed Rocks is clean and reasonably priced at $65/yard + tax at time of this review. Highly recommended for rocks."

I was renovating my mom's back yard for her. We needed some gravel for the foundation for a shed. I wasn't able to go with her but I gave her the measurements for the foundation with the intention that we could get the material delivered. We needed in total 15 cubic feet (0.55 cubic yard). They ended up telling her that she needed 1 cubic yard which is double the amount of gravel we needed. They are refusing to take back the gravel we don't need even if I drop it off. So far the only place that is willing to take it is 1-800-Got-Junk and they are charging $350+ taxes.

Worst customer service and the manager Is very rude. The lady owner has a stubborn face and never smiles nor does the owner. They seem to be very rude and fussy people. Bought River rocks and that was all filled with crushed rocks, upon sending the owner the pics, he started fussing and making excuses. He finally reimbursed me for those rocks, but he kept on fussing and making excuses making one feel uncomfortable going back.

They got superb variety of bulk rocks and soils for gardening and landscaping. Prices are very fair. The employees are very knowledgeable and professional. Recommend anyone looking for landscaping supplies to drop in and check them out
