Scott came over, gave us a quote the same day. Installation took place a couple of weeks later. The two guys did a great job, cleaned up after themselves and completed the work in the time they said. Scott returned to see if we were happy. Just great service.

I had great service from Hogg when my furnace died in the middle of last winter. They were quick sending someone out to give me a quote and provided me with space heaters to use to keep warm while I waited the few days until it could be installed. They had very reasonable prices as well after comparing other companies.

Over the past 3 weeks I’ve had problems with my furnace. In that time 2 service reps have tried to repair the furnace without replacement. It could not be done. Today I had my furnace replaced and the A/C work will be completed when the weather improves. Each department I’ve had contact with gave excellent customer service. I highly recommend Hogg Fuel.

The team at Hogg went above and beyond mere service for us. Our air conditioner needed to be replaced and time, due to health reasons was critical. Laurie Tuckwood and her team had the installers here at 6:45 pm on Saturday night. By 9:30 all the work was done and we had air. This went above and beyond service, this was true caring for our wellbeing.Hogg has been our heating and air conditioner service at our home since it was built for my grandfather in the 1950s and they will remain not only in that capacity but also as very trusted and loyal friends.There aren’t enough stars to give them the rating they deserve! Their 24/7 support is a scam. I called and they said they'd come at first but after waiting almost 1.5 hrs I called back. They said they couldn't get anyone and that Air conditioning isn't an emergency. Tell that to my Grandmother in 30 degree weather. How can they lie like that ? I wonder what their regular service is like if they lie about after hours ?

In the end the work completed was as sold - and even a bit better. Getting to the result took quite some time as the product was not what was indicated at the time of sale. Hogg did work to correct the problem at their own pace. The technicians, while interpersonal skills were not great, did complete the work neatly and hopefully in a manner that will outlast the warranty. There was also some billing issues for maintenance work that was completed that were also resolved. Overall, the result would be 5 stars but the headaches getting there make it a 3 at very best.

So the we had our AC and Furnace replaced by Hogg.First the Good:1. The installation is very neat and is very clean.It works well in the space and we gained some few inches in our basement with the new installation.2. Overall the temperature distribution of the house is better with the new installation.We have several half flights of stairs in our house and before you could feel the temperature change with literally every step. Now its more consistent throughout the house.3. I was impressed by the knowledge of the sales person (Jason) since he had years of experience working with HVAC installation. When we were looking at the catalogue, he gave us the option for each installation rather than like three options.4. With the new unit our electricity usage has been cut in half and we keep the furnace fan running. We barely hear the furnace when it is running.Now the Bad:1. Emails bounce back, even replying to emails they sent.At the time of the quote all of the details were written down on some loose leaf paper which was left with us, which is fine. However when I tried to email Jason a copy my emails kept getting bounced back. I found that when I was trying to reply to emails sent by different Hogg representatives they would frequently bounce back.2. Quote and Purchase Agreement Issues (double check ALL items on the Purchase Agreement before signing)Unfortunately I made the mistake and assumed that after making the specifications that it would be installed accordingly. I was told that I would get a new 1 rack

I’ve had Hogg as my home heat and cooling provider now for about 7 years. Both the in-office service reps and field techs are absolutely great. Their friendliness and knowledge are super. As important is their concern for their customers’ needs esp in timely service responses. Way to go Lorna in service and Greg in the field! Will spread the word!

I want to say that I was recently given excellent service for our air conditioning - Greg Mercer has always been an outstanding technician- I emailed my concern on the Hogg Fuel website and had a phone call back from him the same day and on a holiday weekend! Kudos to Greg and he always gives me excellent advice and information about my air conditioner and furnace! I will continue to use Hogg Fuel and Supply Ltd. to service my air conditioner and furnace.

I have been a Hogg customer for 14 years. We had an oil furnace until this year. We bought our new gas furnace and an air conditioner from them as well with a 10 year parts and labour warranty. The rebate we got was a huge bonus!! They always filled us up on time when we were an oil customer and the service plan I was on took away any worries of breaking down. Nice techs and great dispatch people. I would highly recommend Hogg.
