The service was amazing, the owner was so nice, and so kind. I tried the Jerk Chicken and the Shrimp Salad, wow so amazing! Authentic Jerk Chicken that leaves a flavorful aftertaste! Highly recommended if you are looking for something delicious in the area!

The food is sooo good! I've eaten at most of the Jamaican restaurants in Ottawa and I have to say this topped them all. The owner was so busy when I came with preparing other orders, but she made no issue with taking care of me.I ordered a combo meal, oxtail and jerk. I’m not the biggest fan of oxtail but her’s was excellent.I will be a regular customer of hers for sure. I ate some of the food when I got in my car, and couldn't stop eating. I'll be recommending this restaurant to everyone I know!

If you haven't had Jamaican food in a long time like I have, this is the place to go for a re introduction. Highly recommend the jerk chicken and curry chicken. It's like going over to your Jamaican friends home and having their mom's famous cooking. Thank you for the great dinner!

My husband ordered some stewed chicken and an order of BBQ chicken with macaroni and cheese and the portions were excellent and the food was delicious! He brought this home around 1pm and it left us full for the rest of the day. Highly recommend ordering from here. We will be back.

I had an amazing experience at Jamaican Home Style Cooking! The food was absolutely delicious - I ordered the ox tail meal and it was cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the sides were just as tasty.The environment is also worth mentioning - it's very welcoming and clean, which made me feel right at home. Maxine makes fantastic dishes and her portions are healthy! This is definitely top quality Jamaican cuisine. I have tried her Jerk chicken and it is amazing! For anyone looking for a true Jamaican culinary experience, I highly recommend Jamaican Homestyle! You will be very happy that you tried it out!

I went there yesterday for the first time and got an oxtail platter. I will say it was gery good the meat was very tender and they gave a good portion of everything. The service was 10/10 the lady was so nice and sweet. I definitely recommend you eat here.
